The 'Seoul Subway' app, currently available on Google Play and the App Store, is also the first official English subway app for Seoul. The app can navigate a network of 23 subway lines across the metropolitan area, Incheon, and Gyeonggi-do, and display popular tourist spots near specific stations.

According to the head of the Seoul Metro Information Management Center under the Seoul Metropolitan Government, which operates subway lines 1 to 8, there is currently no app (subway) in Korea that provides these functions to foreign users. Users can automatically search for locations in real time

Seoul subway will automatically search the location of the user in real time. When the user selects a destination, the app will automatically set the user's current location as the starting point (departure station) and recommend the best route.
