Kikine dormitory writer's room interview!

[Interview with a Mongolian student]

Hello, please introduce yourself.

hello! I am an international student from Mongolia, majoring in mechanical engineering. My name is Ice Americano (nickname).

I wonder what kind of study you are studying in Korea!

In Korea, a lot of research and development is being done in the field of mechanical engineering, so I am studying to become more specialized in this field. In particular, the goal is to have expertise in various fields such as robotics engineering, automotive engineering, and energy engineering.

As a foreign student, what kind of things do you see in Korea?

Korea has a different culture and lifestyle from Mongolia, so it was very difficult at first. However, Koreans are very kind and friendly, and the school has a support system that helps international students, which has helped them adapt a lot. It is also very impressive that Korea has developed a lot in the high-tech and IT fields, providing an environment for growth in various fields.

I felt that Korea itself is a country with a lot of affection. It's always cool to see how to help people around you and want to grow together.

Do you have any stories about your homeland that you would like to share in Kikine?

In my opinion, Mongolia is a country with beautiful nature and rich history and culture. Mongolia is also a resource-rich country with new industries constantly developing. Mongolia is also known for its serene and quiet atmosphere and warm hospitality. Recently, more and more people enjoy traveling to Mongolia, and it is more convenient for foreigners to travel, so we recommend travel.

Advice to friends who are preparing to study in Korea!

If I would give any advice to my friends who are preparing to study in Korea, it is that they should put importance on studying the language and understanding the culture. Since using the Korean language is essential in Korea, it is important to practice the language well before leaving the country and to understand the Korean culture and social climate. Also, it is important to actively enjoy new experiences, become friendly with various people, and have a mindset that actively seeks and accepts help.
