Today, I'm going to write about the MT held at a Korean university.

University MT? How will it work?

You might know people who go to college in Korea!!

First of all, MT is an abbreviation for membership training. It refers to short trips held at work or college, and is often done in April or May after school starts. In particular, the purpose of MT held at universities is a group workshop to increase intimacy with freshmen and department seniors .

The MT starts with an activating game when you first arrive at the accommodation. There are many games where you can start with self-introduction and get to know your classmates, from ice breaking games to group games. Here we introduce you to some popular games!

song guessing game

It is a game to guess the song title after listening to 1-3 seconds of the prelude. There are many types of songs from rock, pop, and hip-hop, and from songs released in 1990 to new songs, various questions are presented for each generation.

speak with your body

It is a game in which you try to match words by explaining words only with your body without literally speaking. It is also a game that can be enjoyed by people of all ages with just a pen and paper!! In particular, it is a game that even those who do not know Korean can easily play.

After all the recreation, we usually have dinner.

It is said that there are many types of meat such as pork belly, kimchi stew, budae stew, or ramen. And simply have a drink and talk with seniors and classmates! Recently, drinking accidents due to excessive drinking have occurred at university MTs and the like. Don't forget to always drink "deliciously"!!!

In fact, I also went to department MT and club MT this semester. As a foreigner, there were many things that were amazing, but most of all, I had a lot of fun and enjoyable experiences. And I met a lot of Korean friends through Empty Tree and have been very close until now.
