Introduction to Apsan
Apsan is a mountain located in Nam-gu, Suseong-gu, and Dalseo-gu, Daegu Metropolitan City, and has a height of 658.7m above sea level. Apsan is famous as the place where Goryeo Taejo Wang Geon (king name) took refuge in the battle with Gyeon Hwon (the founder of Later Baekje) in Later Baekje (late Baekje), and there are historical sites such as Anilsa (temple name) and Wanggul (tourist site name) . Apsan Observatory Course:
Goryeongchon Dwaejijjigae This is a course that starts at the Apsan main store and goes up to the Apsan Observatory via Jarak-gil or Anilsa Temple. You can see the night view of Daegu at a glance from Apsan Observatory. This course is recommended for beginners and takes about 4 hours round trip.
Wanggul course:
Goryeongchon Dwaejijjigae This is a course that starts from the Apsan main store, passes through Anilsa Temple, passes the stone pagoda and Wanggul Cave, and goes up to the top of Apsan Mountain. Wanggul is the cave where Wang Geon (Taejo Wang Geon of Goryeo) hid, and there is a legend that a spider web and a sea of clouds saved Wang Geon. This course is recommended for advanced users (those who have been to the mountains well) and takes about 3 hours round trip.
