Korea's tourist visa mainly refers to a short-term comprehensive (C-3) visa. This visa allows you to stay in Korea for 90 days or less for the purpose of tourism, visit, treatment, conference, culture and arts, etc. C-3 visas are further divided into several subcategories, for example:

C-3-1: General tourism

C-3-2 : Group Tour

C-3-4: living together by visiting

C-3-6: Medical treatment

C-3-9 : Culture and Arts

The following documents are required to apply for a C-3 visa.

passport

visa application form

1 photo

Fee 40,000 won (cash)

Additional documents according to the purpose of stay (e.g. invitation letter, flight ticket, accommodation reservation, etc.)

The validity period of the C-3 visa is 3 months from the date of issuance, and it should be noted that you must obtain a re-entry permit or change your status of residence within 90 days after entering the country.

If you want to apply for a Korean tourist visa, visit the Korean embassy or consulate in your country (region) of residence and submit the visa application form, passport, photo, fee, and documents for each status of stay. Alternatively, you can apply for an electronic visa or visa issuance certificate through the visa portal (https://www.visa.go.kr/openPage.do?MENU_ID=10105). The e-Visa is a service that allows you to print out or send a confirmation of e-Visa issuance according to the screening result when you fill out an application form on the Visa Portal and make an electronic payment. Confirmation of Visa Issuance is a service that notifies you of the visa issuance confirmation number and expiration date according to the screening result when you fill out an application form on the visa portal and make an electronic payment. In this case, you must visit the Korean embassy or consulate again to obtain a visa.

You can check the visa portal (https://www.visa.go.kr/openPage.do?MENU_ID=10105) for the e-visa or visa issuance certificate and the required documents to apply for. For other questions, I think it would be a good idea to contact the Immigration Information Center (1345 without an area code, +82-1345 from abroad).
