Autumn foliage attractions in Korea: APEC Naru Park in Busan

It was built to commemorate the 2005 APEC summit. This is a landmark park in Centum City, Busan, and opened on October 21, 2005. There are sculptures submitted to the Busan Biennale Sculpture Project throughout the park, and there is a light fountain in the Suyeong River that changes color every moment. Yongdusan Mountain (49 meters) is a hill in downtown Busan and is one of the three famous mountains in Busan. This is where Busan Tower, the representative symbol of Busan, is located. Busan Tower is a famous observatory in Busan, and Yongdusan Park has beautiful fall foliage.

Korea’s famous autumn foliage spot: Busan Yongso Wellbeing Park

Address: San 7-2, Seobu-ri, Gijang-eup, Gijang-gun, Busan

Operating hours: Open 24 hours

Yongso Wellbeing Park was created as a result of a project to turn a reservoir that had served its purpose into a park when a housing complex was built where there were rice fields. It is a park that received the Minister's Award at the 2008 Korea Landscape Architecture Awards. It's great for taking a walk through the forest while feeling the natural breeze all year round, and it's also great for relaxing while looking at the calm waves of the reservoir. Especially in fall, many people visit to see the fall foliage.

Korea’s famous autumn foliage spot: Cheona Valley, Jeju

It is a very famous autumn foliage spot in Jeju. Although it is a valley, there is little water in the fall so you can go in. There are maple trees on both sides of the valley, and when the colors change, it looks really picturesque. Because it's in the forest, you can see a variety of plants, and it's a nice course to walk.

Along both sides of the forest road, which corresponds to a typical temperate mountain zone, there is a wide, dense natural forest where various tree species such as oak, hornbeam, cypress, dogwood, cypress, and cedar grow. It is said that walking along this forest path while breathing in the clean air is good for relieving stress and improving intestinal and cardiopulmonary function, making it a popular attraction for many people.

Autumn foliage attractions in Korea: Jeju Hangmong Historic Site

Address: 50 Hangpaduri-ro, Aewol-eup, Jeju-si, Jeju-do

Operating hours: Daily 09:00 – 18:00
