Today, I will introduce you to the secret forest path that leads from the Blue House to Bukaksan Mountain. This is a historic site in Korea and a beautiful walking path enjoyed by former presidents.

First of all, this course is famous for ‘K-climbing.’ It starts from the Blue House Chunchugwan and continues all the way to Baekakmaru. There is also a Blue House Observatory in the middle, where you can see Gyeongbokgung Palace and the Gwanghwamun area at a glance.

This trail was not open to the public for a long time. However, it will be open to everyone with the opening of the Blue House in 2022. It is part of Hanyangdoseong during the Joseon Dynasty and has high historical value.

Baekakmaru is the starting point and summit of this hiking trail. Although the slope is steep, it is a great place for those who want to enjoy a walk. Here you can also see trees planted by former presidents.

Next, you can go up to the Blue House Observatory and enjoy the beautiful scenery of Seoul. After passing through Daetongmun, you go deeper into the forest, and pine trees and various other trees fill the hiking trail. And in Manse Dongbang, there is healing mineral water.

Continuing past Sukjeongmun Gate, we follow the walls of Hanyangdoseong Fortress. If you climb up while admiring the dense pine forest, you can see a wonderful view from Gokjang.

And Baekakmaru symbolizes the summit of Bukaksan Mountain, where you can enjoy a great view of Seoul. Finally, this beautiful hike ends after passing Changuimun Gate, where there are many restaurants where you can taste traditional Korean food and alcohol.
