This event is hosted by Sejong University and Job Center (JOBCENTER), which supports employment and entrepreneurship of international students, and is organized by Time Media and Sejong University One-Stop Service Center.

Purpose and Importance of ISF

• The importance of multicultural employment and entrepreneurship: Korean universities are expressing concerns about the difficulty in attracting domestic students and the lack of manpower. Employment and entrepreneurship for international students are one of the ways to solve these problems.

• Increase in foreign students: As of 2022, the number of foreigners residing in Korea is 2,245,912, and the number of foreign students is 197,234, and the number of employed people reaches about 28,300.

• Korean Wave and International Students: With the growth of K-pop and K-content, the demand for Korean education among international students is increasing.

• Changes in laws and systems: International students and people with a certain level of Korean language skills can work part-time and apply for various visas, such as investment visas or start-up visas.
