The ASEAN-Korea Center holds this contest to raise young people’s interest in ASEAN-Korea relations and promote academic research on it. For undergraduate and graduate students of Korean and ASEAN nationality, you can write and submit an academic essay on ways to expand Korea-ASEAN relations.
The theme of this contest is ways to expand Korea-ASEAN relations under a comprehensive strategic partnership. This exciting topic gives you the opportunity to present your ideas and vision to the world.
Proposal submission: 2024.3.21.(Thursday) - 4.22.(Monday) 18:00
Essay submission: 5.14.(Tuesday) - 7.7.(Sunday) 18:00
Applications are made in English, and both proposals and essays can be submitted through Google Form . For detailed submission instructions, please refer to the ASEAN-Korea Center’s official website and video.
Grand Prize: 2 each from Korean and ASEAN nationals / Support for study and training in Korea and Indonesia
Excellence Award: 2 Korean and ASEAN nationals each / KRW 1,000,000
Encouragement Prize: 2 Korean and ASEAN nationals each / KRW 500,000
The grand prize winner will announce the winning work at the 2024 Korean Association of Southeast Asian Studies Annual Conference.
