Share your special experience of studying abroad in Korea!

Apply Korea is holding a “My Story of Studying Abroad in Korea” presentation contest for international students currently studying in Korea. This competition provides an opportunity to interact and collaborate with other international students through their study abroad experience in Korea. “The power to connect universities” We hope that many international students will participate in this competition hosted by Korea University Newspaper and organized by Apply Korea.

How to Participate and Preliminary Schedule

International students can participate in the competition after registering as a member at www.applykorea.or.kr. The first preliminary round will be held from Thursday, May 16, 2024 to 6:00 PM on Saturday, June 8, 2024. Participants can create and submit a mobile phone video of no more than 2 minutes on the topic “My Story of Studying Abroad in Korea.” Please send the submitted video to contact@applykorea.or.kr along with your membership ID.

Announcement of successful candidates from preliminary round and final competition

Those who pass the first preliminary round will be contacted individually from 2pm on Friday, June 28, 2024. The final presentation will be held at Everyone's Plaza, B1, Startup Hub, Chang-dong, Seoul, and participants can invite up to three acquaintances. On the main stage, international students will give presentations about their lives studying abroad in Korea and provide an opportunity to share various experiences.

Awards details and judging method

The awards for this competition are as follows:

1 person to agree with: certificate and prize money of 1 million won

Sympathy Silver Award: 2 people: certificate and prize money of 500,000 won

2 Sympathy Bronze Awards: certificate and prize money of 200,000 won

Sympathy Award: 6 people: certificate and prize money of 100,000 won

Submitted videos will be uploaded to the Apply Korea channel and the number of views will be reflected in the review. Submitted videos will not be returned, and prize money will be paid after deducting taxes and fees.
