A special contest is being held for families with immigrant backgrounds living in Korea! This contest was designed to share the experiences of families with immigrant backgrounds adjusting to Korea and to capture valuable stories in a multicultural society. We look forward to the participation of citizens living in Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam.

Contest Target: An open opportunity for anyone to participate

This contest is open to all citizens living in Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam. Anyone can participate, including families with immigrant backgrounds, workers at related facilities, and general citizens. Experience the beauty of a multicultural society through the experiences and stories of various people.

Contest theme: Share diverse multicultural experiences

Please write a long essay about your experience as a family with an immigrant background. Topics include:

• Stories of families with immigrant backgrounds: life in Korea, school life, raising children after immigration, etc.
• Stories shared with friends and neighbors with a migration background
• Stories about a multicultural society as a citizen

Timeline: How to participate and important dates

The contest will be held as follows:

Application period: International Day, May 20, 2024 (Monday) ~ August 25, 2024 (Sunday)

Judging and announcement: Late September 2024

Awards Ceremony: October 2024

How to write and submit your notes: simply and clearly

Quantity of writing: Approximately 2 pages of designated format (font size 13 points, line spacing 160%)

How to participate and apply: Please write an article of no more than 1-2 pages in Korean based on the provided topic. If written in your native language, please submit a translated copy.

Documents to be submitted: Please submit one copy of your written statement and one copy of the personal information collection consent form by email.
