The Korea Seafarer Welfare and Employment Center is recruiting “KOSWEC Supporters” to support communication tasks for foreign seafarers. We look forward to the application of passionate people who will play an important role in helping smooth communication between foreign seafarers and employers (colleagues) and resolving conflicts and difficulties.

What are KOSWEC Supporters?

KOSWEC Supporters play the role of helping smooth communication through interpretation and translation when conflicts and various difficulties arise between employers and foreign seafarers at workplaces employing foreign seafarers.

Recruitment target

Requirements

Applicants must be able to interpret and translate in at least one of the following languages: English, Indonesian, Filipino (Tagalog), and Myanmar.

Preferential conditions

Preference will be given to those who have graduated (or are expected to) graduate from a university in a language-related department, have TOPIK Korean Language Proficiency Test level 3 or higher, and have a career counselor license.

Business information

The main task of supporters is to support foreign seafarers in all aspects of their grievances.

Commission allowance

If you are assigned to perform a task, you will be paid a separate allowance.

2. 「KOSWEC Supporters」 Self-Introduction
3. 「KOSWEC Supporters」 Career Certificate
4. 1 copy of final academic level graduation (expected) certificate (limited to the language-related department)
5. 1 copy of TOPIK Korean Language Proficiency Test score certificate (limited to scores valid within 2 years from the date of announcement)
6. 1 copy of career counselor qualification (limited to applicable applicants)
