Tani's Story

We invite you to the 19th walking tour hosted by the Haeundae Walking Tour Group, “Haeundae Cheongsapo Mongdol Beach Beach Coming Walk.” This walking tour will include cultural commentary while walking along the Haeundae Green Railway, as well as beachcombing, an environmental protection activity that involves picking up trash on the beach.

Event Overview

This event will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Participants will meet at the Mipo sign and walk a distance of approximately 3.3km to the Blue Sand Exhibition Hall. The exploration course includes Haeundae Green Railway and Cheongsapo Mongdol Beach, and includes beachcombing activities for a total of 2 hours. Applications are accepted from Friday, June 7th to Thursday, June 20th at 6:00 PM. Please contact Haeundae Cultural Center (051-784-3400). Participation fee is free.

Exploration course and supplies

The exploration course starts from the Mipo sign and continues along the Haeundae Green Railway, through Cheongsapo Mongdol Beach, and to the Blue Sand Exhibition Hall. While walking a distance of approximately 3.3km, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Haeundae and listen to commentary from a cultural interpreter. Those participating in the tour are requested to wear comfortable clothing, walking shoes or sneakers, and bring their own sunscreen, hat, snacks, etc.

beachcombing activities

The highlight of this walking tour is the beachcombing activity. While walking on Cheongsapo Mongdol Beach, you can participate in environmental protection by picking up beach trash. Beachcombing is an important activity that keeps beaches clean and protects marine ecosystems. Through this activity, participants can feel the importance of environmental protection and contribute to creating a clean Haeundae.
