The Happy Book Sharing Project will begin on May 16, 2024, and will continue until the budget is exhausted. The project may end early when the budget is exhausted, so if you want to participate, please do so as soon as possible.

This project is a program that refunds a certain portion of the price of the book in the form of a book exchange voucher if you bring the book you have finished reading to a participating bookstore. The compensation amount is paid by dividing 50% of the regular price by one hundred won. For example, a book with a regular price of 23,800 won can be compensated for 11,000 won. Cash refunds are not possible, and book exchange vouchers can only be used at the store where they were issued, and must be checked as they have an expiration date.

Exchange criteria and excluded books

Books that can be exchanged are those published after January 1, 2022 that are recommended to Busan citizens. Up to 10 books can be exchanged per person at a time, and there is no limit to the number of exchanges. However, reference books, textbooks, comic books, dictionaries, not-for-sale items, periodicals, foreign books, books over 30,000 won, damaged books, timely economic books, series, etc. are excluded. Up to two copies of the same book can be exchanged per person. Please refrain from exchanging personal works.
