The International Friendly Art Contest is coming! Dear international students, we hope you will participate in this competition held at the main auditorium of Busan Freedom Center. We have prepared a variety of competitions, so show off your passion and talent to the fullest.

Date and location

The 26th International Friendship Art Contest will be held at the Busan Freedom Center Auditorium on Sunday, August 25, 2024 at 10 am. This competition is a great opportunity for foreign students to demonstrate their diverse artistic talents based on a deep understanding of Korean culture and history.

speech contest

In the speech contest, you must give a 3-minute presentation in Korean on the topic of Korean culture and history. You can freely choose the title of the work, and required documents include a recommendation letter, application form, 1 manuscript, 1 photo, and 1 copy of your alien registration card. This competition will be a great opportunity to show off your Korean language skills.

writing contest

The writing contest will also be themed around the culture and history of the Republic of Korea, but the title of the work can be chosen freely. Documents to be submitted include one copy of a work written with a word processor on A4 paper, a letter of recommendation, one photo, and one copy of your alien registration card. Express your deep thoughts about Korea through writing.

Fairy tale storytelling contest

In the fairy tale storytelling contest, you must tell an original fairy tale on a variety of topics for 5 minutes. Topics include preparations for unification, international cultural exchange plans, and a blueprint for a unified Korea. Documents to be submitted include a manuscript written on A4 paper, two business card photos, a letter of recommendation, and an application form. This competition will be a platform for creativity and expression.

Speaker selection method

Speakers from foreigners, overseas Koreans, and multicultural families can participate through recommendation from their head. Please contact each affiliated organization to receive a letter of recommendation. If you are a student at Pusan ​​National University, please submit your documents to the International Cooperation Office by 16:00 on July 24th.
