The 'Korean Employment and Visa Consulting Seminar for ASEAN Youth', held at the Eurasia Platform in Busan on Saturday, August 31, 2024, is an information and networking event for ASEAN students from 10 countries in Korea.

It will be held from 14:00 to 17:40 in Room 104, 1st floor, Busan Eurasia Platform.

Pre-registration and participation application

If you would like to participate in the event, please apply for pre-registration from July 8 to August 9, 2024. Registration confirmation will be emailed on August 12th.

Detailed program schedule

• Opening ceremony and welcome speech : Announces the start of the event and takes a group photo of participants.
• Session 1 - Employment in Korea : Sookjeong Eom from the Busan Global Cities Foundation provides important information about employment in Korea.
• Session 2 - Visa Consulting : Jeong Se-hyun of E Hyun Consulting will provide detailed advice on visas.
• Session 3 - Seniors' Stories: ASEAN Youth Mentoring : Seniors active in various fields share their experiences and advice.
• Session 4 - 1:1 Peer Review Session : Held in a booth format and provides time for personal questions or consultation.

This seminar is of great benefit to ASEAN students in Korea. First, participants can receive help with practical career planning and preparation through sessions that provide key information needed for employment in Korea. Second, a visa consultation session will help you understand the legal procedures and requirements and familiarize you with the materials and procedures needed to prepare for them. In Session 3, you will gain insight into the actual work environment and culture through stories from seniors in various fields, and in the final session, you will have the opportunity to receive answers to your personal questions through individual consultation. The program provides participants with essential information and networking opportunities to successfully develop their careers and adjust to life in Korea.
