Kyung Hee University's International Education Institute is hosting the 26th World Korean Speech Contest for Foreigners to promote Korean language and culture. This contest is a valuable opportunity for foreign students to demonstrate their Korean language skills and share their passion for Korean culture.

Competition schedule and location

The competition will be held at Crown Hall, Kyung Hee University, from 14:00 to 16:00 on Thursday, October 17, 2024. This competition will be an important stage for foreigners studying Korean to show off their skills.

Eligibility and Application Method

Any foreigner who can speak Korean can participate, and this is limited to those who have not previously won awards at the Kyung Hee University Korean Language Speech Contest for Foreigners. **Applications will be accepted from Thursday, August 15, 2024 to Friday, September 6, 2024**. Applications can only be submitted online through the Kyung Hee University International Education Institute website.

Award details

This competition will select a total of 14 winners, and the grand prize winner will receive a prize of 1.5 million won. The two best winners will each receive 1 million won, and there are also various other awards prepared, such as special awards, excellence awards, and encouragement awards.
