Hello everyone
A few days ago, I went to Mangwon Hangang Park with a friend, and it was so much better than I expected. Today, I’m going to share with you the fun experience I had there~
The weather was clear that day and the breeze was gentle, making it a perfect day for a walk. I got off at Mangwon Station, ate at Mangwon Market, and walked a short distance to Mangwon Hangang Park. I’ve usually been to the Yeouido or Banpo Hangang Parks, but this was my first time at Mangwon, and it was even better than I thought!
As the sky began to turn red at sunset, I was truly amazed. I took pictures from various angles because I was greedy for photos, and luckily, I got some really pretty pictures! Mangwon Hangang Park seems to be the best photo spot. I recommend going at sunset on a nice day~
Mangwon Hangang Park definitely had a relaxed atmosphere and a local feel, which was really nice. I spread out a picnic mat and sat down, and I didn't realize how much time had passed. I bought snacks and drinks at a nearby convenience store and chatted while looking out at the Hangang River.
While I was walking, I also happened to find 'Seoulham Park'. I had only heard that there was an actual warship in Hangang Park, but it was my first time seeing it in person, so it was really amazing. When I got closer, it was quite large and magnificent. Seoulham was a retired warship that was actually used by the Navy, but now it is open for citizens to freely look around. Since I came across such an unexpected sight while walking, Mangwon Hangang Park seems to be a place with a lot of charm~
If you don't have any special plans for the weekend, why not have a picnic or take a walk at Mangwon Hangang Park? I recommend it to international students who want to find some leisure time in the city.
have a good day!
