The Seoul International Fireworks Festival, a true symbol of Seoul's autumn, is back again this year! It's scheduled to be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025. Let's take a look together!

1️⃣ Introducing the 2025 Seoul International Fireworks Festival

The Seoul International Fireworks Festival, jointly organized by Hanwha Group and the Seoul Metropolitan Government, is a dazzling multimedia fireworks show featuring world-class fireworks production teams, complete with music and laser effects. The main fireworks show begins at 7 p.m. The dazzling fireworks, music, and lasers... I'm really looking forward to it. Below are some photos I took when I went last year.

2️⃣ Experience the 2024 Seoul International Fireworks Festival

When I attended last year's event, I realized that securing a spot early was key. With so many people, I realized you really had to get there at least a few hours in advance to get your desired spot. I remember arriving early with a friend and waiting for a long time to secure our spot. Thanks to that effort, we were able to see the fireworks up close.

3️⃣ Where to watch the Seoul International Fireworks Festival

So where should you go to see it? Yeouido Hangang Park is the most central location, but you can also enjoy it leisurely at Ichon Park, Nodeul Island, the southern end of Wonhyo Bridge, and Banpo. If you're looking for a quiet spot, these are also good options. I saw it near Nodeul Island last year. It was less crowded than Yeouido and not as crowded, which was nice. And don't forget to bring a mat, warm outerwear, and blankets!
