EBS International Documentary Festival, in English, is a partial competition international documentary film festival that started in 2004. Originally, the Korean name was EBS International Documentary Festival, but it has been changed to EBS International Documentary Film Festival since the 6th in 2009, reflecting the blurring of the boundaries between documentary and film.

The EBS International Documentary Film Festival is a film festival hosted by the Korea Education Broadcasting Corporation and sponsored by the Korea Communications Commission. This film festival aims to spread the documentary by opening a place of communication with the world culture and inheriting the spirit of the documentary era.

EBS International Documentary Film Festival is the documentary film festival with the longest history in Korea. Since 2004 there have been many excellent documentaries. EBS International Documentary Film Festival exists as the only film festival in the world that combines terrestrial broadcasting and online/oline platforms through EBS1TV programming and online = VOD service D-BOX, in addition to theatrical screenings.
