In Korea , people like to eat warm food during rainy weather. On a cold and humid rainy day, kalguksu (noodle soup) with warm soup and noodles is a great choice. And because kalguksu is eaten with noodles, meat, seafood, and vegetables, it has high nutritional value and is very delicious. Kalguksu is one of my favorite Korean foods.

Makgeolli bars are also crowded on rainy days in Korea. Makgeolli is one of Korea's traditional drinks. Rainy days often feel cold due to low temperatures and high humidity. Makgeolli has a bit of alcohol, so it can make you feel warm. And in rainy weather, digestion often becomes heavy. Makgeolli is a light alcoholic beverage, so it can help with digestion after a meal.

And when I go to a bar, I usually eat green onion pancakes with makgeolli. Pajeon and makgeolli are one of the popular combinations often eaten together in Korea. Pajeon is a pancake made with green onions and other ingredients. There are various versions, including green onions, seafood, tofu, and meat. Pajeon is delicious because it has a crispy surface.

3️⃣ Food to eat on a rainy day in Korea - Tteokbokki

The last menu item I would like to recommend is tteokbokki. Here, I recommend eating tteokbokki with plenty of soup instead of the usual tteokbokki. This is because tteokbokki with a lot of soup has warm soup that can warm your body. And since most Korean tteokbokki is spicy, I recommend it to international students who like spicy food.
