The Ginkgo Forest, the best attraction representing autumn in the Hongcheon area, has over 2,000 ginkgo trees planted in rows and rows at 5m intervals, creating a spectacular sight with yellow ginkgo leaves, and nearby is Sambong Mineral Water, one of the nine scenic spots in Hongcheon. It is also close to Guryongnyeong, making it one of the best fall travel destinations. The best way to comfortably enjoy the secret scenery of Seorak Mountain is to use the Seorak Cable Car. In fall, Seoraksan Mountain changes colors, including maple leaves and ginkgo trees, and it is so pretty and cool. While traveling by cable car, you can see famous attractions such as Ulsan Rock and Manmulsang through the glass window.

Ganhyeon Tourist Site, 18km west of Wonju City, is an amusement park located at the point where Seomgang, a tributary of the Namhan River, and Samsancheon Stream meet. The clear river flows and the white sandy beach is wide, so many tourists come to play in the water during the summer.

Gangwon-do famous maple leaf spot: Inje Wondae-ri Birch Forest

Wondae-ri Birch Forest, a natural eco-tourism site near Inje-eup, was created by planting 690,000 birch trees on 138ha from 1974 to 1995, and currently 25ha of it is operated as a forest experience center for children. You can reach the birch forest by walking along the forest path that starts from the birch forest information center, which is the entrance.

Other fall foliage spots in Gangwon-do include Nami Island and Cheongpyeongsa Temple in Chuncheon; There are Secret Garden in Inje-si, Ojukheon in Gangneung-si, and Seonjae-gil on Odaesan in Pyeongchang-si.
