Here is the schedule for the first half of the 2025 school year for international students! Applications and document submissions will be from Monday, September 23, 2024 to Friday, October 11, 2024, and the second round will be from Monday, November 18, 2024 to Friday, November 29, 2024. The medical school interview will be on Saturday, October 19, 2024, the College of Arts Theater major practical exam will be held on the same day, and the arts and physical education practical exam will be on Saturday, October 26, 2024. The announcement of successful applicants will be on Friday, November 8, 2024 and Friday, December 20, 2024.
Next, let's look at the qualifications for applicants for the foreign national program. Please note that these qualifications can be applied equally to many universities, not just Chung-Ang University.
Applicants must meet both the application qualifications and the common application qualifications. In the case of new admissions, the applicant must be a foreign student whose parents are both foreigners, and must be a graduate (or expected graduate) of a regular high school in Korea or abroad or have an equivalent academic background. Those with multiple nationalities (including Korean nationality) are not recognized as foreigners.
If you have acquired foreign citizenship, you must have acquired foreign citizenship before entering elementary school to be eligible to apply. Those who have passed the qualification exam or self-study cannot apply. For second-year transfer, you must be a foreign student whose parents are both foreigners and have completed (or are expected to complete) at least 2 semesters (1 year) at a regular 4-year university in Korea or abroad or have graduated (or are expected to graduate) from a regular junior college. For third-year transfer, you must have completed (or are expected to complete) at least 4 semesters (2 years) or have graduated (or are expected to graduate) from a junior college.
