Everyone, a new semester has started. I feel excited and busy at the same time. I feel like studying abroad is always a mixture of excitement and challenge. I feel like I am learning and growing every day as I adapt to a new environment. Today, I will share with you my school life~
I wake up around 8am, eat cereal and bread in the kitchen, and then go to school. Maybe because it’s still early, the hallway is quiet, and the reading room has a calm atmosphere. I put my laptop, writing utensils, and books on the desk and started studying. It was a little overwhelming at first because I had a lot of homework and reading materials to do since the new semester had just started, but once I sat down in the reading room and focused, I didn’t even realize how much time had passed!
After studying, I went to eat at the cafeteria with a friend! I was really hungry after concentrating so hard, but a bowl of warm soup and rice was just right. Today's menu was stir-fried pork, pancake, and salad. It was a bit unexpected that pineapple came out, but it was sweet and sour, so it was okay! It was nice to be able to talk about various things while eating with a friend, and to be able to cool my head for a little while.
After class in the afternoon, I went to a famous hangover soup restaurant near the school with my senior in the evening. I had a light lunch at the cafeteria, but I wanted something heavy for dinner. I went there with high expectations because my senior recommended it, and the soup was really rich and deep, so I was completely satisfied! I mixed rice in the warm hangover soup and ate it, and it felt like all the fatigue from the day was gone.
Today, I introduced my ordinary daily life. Of course, studying abroad can be difficult at times and I feel lonely at times, but as I fill each day, I am gradually becoming accustomed to life here. 😊
