Have you ever been to see cherry blossoms? I went to Seokchon Lake last Monday to feel the spring in Korea. The cherry blossoms were in full bloom along the lake, just like a scene from a movie. Today, I will share my experience of seeing cherry blossoms~
I heard that Seokchon Lake is a place where the city and nature are in harmony in Seoul, so I always wanted to visit there whenever I passed by Jamsil. The long walking path along the lake and the cherry blossoms fluttering over the water were impressive even just from looking at the pictures. So this time, I went to see it with a friend. When we actually arrived, the scenery was even prettier than the pictures. The wind was still a little chilly, but the cherry blossoms were blooming like clouds, embracing the lake!
It was night, but there were still many people, and the cherry blossoms in full bloom under the warm lights sparkled on the lake like a painting. We stopped several times to take pictures, took pictures of each other, and recorded precious moments. I was so happy walking and laughing with my friend and looking at the flowers~
In addition to Seokchon Lake, there are many beautiful cherry blossom spots in Seoul. One of them is Yunjong-ro in Yeouido. I heard that there is a 1.7km cherry blossom road along the Han River, so I want to go there. Another famous spot in Seoul is said to be the campus of Kyunghee University. And Seoul Forest is also a great place to take a walk to see cherry blossoms in spring. Where did you go to see the cherry blossoms?
It was a short night walk, but I think it was a spring night that will remain in my memory for a long time during my study abroad life.
