Purple Island is an island village full of purple in Sinan, Jeollanam-do. There are 3 ways to get to Purple Island. If you want to go by car, search for the parking lot for Purple Island, park in the parking lot, and cross the Purple Bridge to get to Purple Island. You can get there by taking the 2004 bus at the Mokpo Bus Terminal, getting off at the Eupdong intersection in Anjwa-myeon, and then taking the village bus. You can also go by boat. You can board in the direction of Anjwa at Mokpo North Port Wharf and Mokpo Coastal Passenger Terminal. If you want to board a ship, check the boat time and what you will need when boarding, and prepare.
Purple Island operating hours are open every day!. There is no holiday. However, if you want to go at night, you can only go from 7 to 10 PM on Fridays and Saturdays. The entrance time is 9:00 PM. Admission is 5,000 won for adults, 3,000 won for youth and soldiers, and 1,000 won for children. If you go in a group, you get 1,000 won discount per person, and 500 won for children. If you wear purple clothes, shoes, an umbrella, or a hat, you can enter for free ! However, scarves, bags, socks, blankets, and handkerchiefs are exceptions! Isn't it fun? Haha.
