When you think of autumn in Korea, what comes to mind first? Many of my friends probably think of autumn leaves haha. The autumn leaves in Korea, the ginkgo tree drama, and the photos are very beautiful. Even if you look at it in reality, it is the same. Seoul Autumn Foliage Spots: Changdeokgung Palace Sponsorship

  • Operating period: 2023.09.1.~11.30 (Thursday) - Excluding public holidays
  • How it works: Entry is only allowed for that session. Individual viewing after admission
  • Number of people per session: October-November: 50 tickets for online reservation, 100 tickets for on-site sales per session.
  • Viewing time: approximately 70 minutes (excluding Okryucheon course)
  • Admission fee: Adults (19-24 years old) 5,000 won (admission free)

Fall Foliage Spots in Seoul: Ewha Womans University

Address: 52 Ewhayeodae-gil, Seodaemun-gu, Seoul

The name is Ewha Womans University and it is literally a university attended only by women. Seoul Autumn Foliage Spots: Deoksugung Stone Wall Road

Operating hours: Open all year round (Deoksugung Palace internal walking path Tuesday ~ Sunday 09:00 ~ 21:00)

Deoksugung Stone Wall Road is a walking course in Deoksugung Palace. Deoksugung Palace is a famous tourist destination in Korea. Deoksugung Palace Stone Wall Road is a place steeped in history from the late Joseon Dynasty to the Japanese colonial period, and is lined with modern buildings. The stone wall road is also connected to the interior of Deoksugung Palace and is a great cultural trail in itself.

Seoul Autumn Foliage Spot: Namsan Park

Address: 231 Samil-daero, Jung-gu, Seoul

Operating hours: 24 hours (open all year round)

It is the largest park in Seoul. If you take the Namsan Dulle-gil course, you can see beautiful fall foliage, but it is a bit far. There are 5 courses along the Namsan Trail, and there are about 15 access roads leading to Namsan, with the most used route going up from Myeongdong Station and Dongguk University Station. Namsan is a great place to see fall foliage and a view of the city of Seoul.

In addition to the attractions introduced above, Gyeongbokgung Palace, Dorimcheon Stream, Seoul Forest, Yangjae Citizen's Forest, Olympic Park, Changgyeonggung Palace, Seokchon Lake, Jungnangcheon Stream, Seonggyukwan University Myeongnyundang, and Seonam Environment Park are also famous places for autumn leaves in Seoul.
