The Morning Calm Arboretum is a beautiful horticultural arboretum located in Sangmyeon, Gapyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do. Designed and built by horticulturalist Han Sang-gyeong in May 1996, the arboretum is located at the foot of Chukryeongsan Mountain, surrounded by a dense pine forest. The Morning Calm Arboretum is visited by many tourists for its beautiful scenery that changes throughout the four seasons, and is especially famous for its seasonal events such as the spring flower festival, fall foliage, and winter illumination. If you are traveling to Gapyeong, the Morning Calm Arboretum is a good choice!

2️⃣ Petite France Village & Italian Village

Gapyeong Italian Village and Petite France are located next to each other, making them a great combination to visit together. The two attractions are themed around Italian landscapes and architecture, so if you plan your travel itinerary well, you can tour them more conveniently and enjoyably~

First, the Italian village is a little wider, and you can feel the Italian atmosphere through the architecture and scenery. In the village, you can enjoy restaurants, wine tasting, and traditional Italian craft experiences. You can take pretty pictures and taste Italian food in the Italian village !

Petite France Theme Park is an exotic theme park themed around France, located in Cheongpyeong-myeon, Gapyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do. You can get there by driving about 10km along the lakeside road from Cheongpyeong Dam toward Namiseom Island. The buildings and beautiful natural scenery reminiscent of a small French village under the Alps also give you a European feel.
