Have you ever been to the famous Blue House in Korea? I went to the Blue House once during vacation. Today, I will introduce the Blue House to you~

1️⃣ The Blue House of Korea

I first visited the Blue House when I came to study abroad in Korea. The moment I entered the entrance, my heart raced as I saw the roof with shining blue tiles and the traditional Hanok-like building. It was impressive even when I only saw it in pictures, but it was even more beautiful in person. The center of Seoul is always crowded with people and cars, but the inside of the Blue House was much quieter and I felt traces of its long history, which was very interesting.

2️⃣ Review of the visit to the Blue House in Korea

The first thing you see when you enter the Blue House is the Presidential Office. There is a long conference table and the Presidential Desk, so it catches your eye at a glance. There is a lot of wood used in the building, so the overall feeling is warm and calm. In particular, the windows and door frames are engraved with traditional Korean patterns, giving off a very Korean vibe, and the gorgeous chandelier hanging from the ceiling makes it look even more luxurious. From the perspective of an international student, it seems like a great place to experience traditional Korean culture and modern design at the same time!

And on one side of the wall, portraits of past presidents hang side by side. Each frame contains the image of a leader who has been with us through modern Korean history. Looking at these portraits, neatly arranged like a small exhibition hall, the historical significance of the Blue House comes to mind more.

As an international student, the Blue House was a truly precious place where I could see and experience Korean history that I had only learned about in books. Also, I was impressed by the fact that the space that used to be the president's office is now open to the public and visitors. If you have time, please visit it too~
