hello everyone!

It feels like Korea has gotten hotter because the typhoon has passed! Today, I would like to introduce the university dormitory where I live and the dormitory meals I usually eat.

university dormitory

The dormitory where I live is located on campus. It's on campus, so it's very convenient and nice to go to school! For reference, in the case of my dormitory, I think it was about 1.3 million won per semester including meals. You can live at an affordable price, and above all, you can live with peace of mind because the guards are in the dormitory 24 hours a day.

This is my room layout. I am using a double room. I share a room with a friend of the same nationality, and my room is equipped with a toilet and refrigerator, so it is very comfortable to live!

Each school is different, but our dormitory has a curfew, so you cannot go out from 1:00 at night to 5:00 in the morning. If you miss the curfew, you need to be careful as there is a deduction. In addition to the curfew, there are set rules that need to be followed.

college dorm meals

In our school dormitory, there is daily meal provision. It may vary from school to school, but at our school you can choose breakfast/lunch/dinner! For example, you can choose only breakfast and lunch, or two meals only, lunch and dinner. Of course, you do not have to apply at all.

wait here!! Are you also curious about Korean studies? Let me introduce you a little bit.

Usually, the menu comes out like this: rice, soup, main side dish, kimchi, other side dishes, and dessert! 60% of the menu is Korean food, but there are also prepared Western or noodle types. The picture above is a picture of the usual Korean food menu!

This is my favorite food menu! I didn't think anything of it when I ate on this day, but looking at it now, the combination of kimchi with western food is indeed Korean! Cream soup doesn't come out often, so I remember eating it very deliciously.

Naengmyeon (naengmyeon) often appears in this season, which is summer. Maybe it's because the weather is so hot, there are times when you lose your appetite?! It's nice to be able to eat something cool on a day like that. By the way, our dormitory cafeteria has set hours, so outside of these hours, you can eat or have snacks in your room!

That's it for today! Thank you for reading today!
