It's Kyobo's handwriting contest!

The Kyobo Handwriting Contest is a social welfare program that has been held since 2015 with the aim of resolving the negative effects of the digital age and creating harmony between emotions through reading books and handwriting, which are representative means of analog emotions.

We are running various programs such as exhibitions of the winners' works and production of winners' fonts .

Kyobo Handwriting Contest is celebrating its 10th anniversary and has launched a new category for foreigners. If you are a foreigner living in Korea, you can choose a sentence from a book or your favorite K-POP lyric and write it in your own handwriting to enter, so this is really great news, right?

• Any foreigner residing in Korea is eligible to apply.

​

• Choose one of two application topics, and submit in Korean only.

* Option 1 - Choose a sentence from the book and write it by hand

* Option 2 - Hand-write your favorite K-POP lyrics

• The schedule is

Application - 7.11 (Thursday) ~ 9.1 (Sunday)

Winner Announcement - Thursday, September 26

Awards Ceremony - Friday, October 11

There are three ways to apply, so I recommend reading through them and applying in the way that suits you!!!

* In-store application - Receive the application form at the counter in the Kyobo Bookstore store, fill it out, and submit it to the counter.

• The award contents are:

First Prize (1 person): Kyobo Bookstore gift certificate worth 1 million won + bonus

Grand Prize (3 people): Kyobo Bookstore gift certificate worth 200,000 won + prize money
