Hello everyone😊

Do you like Korean food? Since I came to Korea, I have tried various Korean foods, and recently I tried Kodari for the first time. The name was unfamiliar, but people around me recommended it, so I tried it. It was surprisingly delicious and tasty. Today, I will introduce you to the Korean food Kodari.

1️⃣ Korean Traditional Food - Kodari

I heard that Kodari is a dish made with dried pollack, and it was very spicy and sweet because it was heavily seasoned. It felt a little spicy for me, who can't eat spicy food well, but the spiciness was followed by sweetness and savory flavors, so I got used to it quickly. In particular, the chewy yet soft texture was really unique!

2️⃣ Korean Traditional Food - Kodari Review

I think Korean food is attractive because of the harmony of spicy and sweet flavors, and I think Kodari is a food that shows that charm well. At first, it was a little unfamiliar, but as I ate it, I kept reaching for it because of the addictive taste. If you are an international student who is trying Korean food for the first time, I think it would be good to experience this kind of seasoning that harmonizes with traditional flavors~

3️⃣ Korean Traditional Food - Codari Cheonggukjang Set

In Korea, codfish and cheonggukjang are often served together. Cheonggukjang is a stew made with fermented soybeans, and is a traditional Korean stew. At first, I was surprised by the strong smell, but when I took a bite, the savory and salty taste was softer and more delicious than I thought. The spicy taste of codfish and the savory taste of cheonggukjang complemented each other, and the strong tastes neutralized each other, so I was satisfied the whole time I was eating. Since I ate both with rice, I really finished a bowl of rice in no time~

Have you ever tried codfish? If not, why not try it while you are studying in Korea?

Have a nice day~
