Palgongsan Mountain in Daegu is the best place to view fall foliage. Palgongsan Mountain is a 1,192m mountain located in Dong-gu, Daegu. Various trees, including maple trees, ginkgo trees, and cherry trees, color the mountain. There are many ways to enjoy fall foliage at Palgongsan Mountain, including driving courses, walking trails, and hiking trails.
Palgong-ro and Palgongsan Ring Road are recommended driving courses. Palgong-ro is a 7.6km road that runs from Gongsan Dam to Baekan Intersection and passes through a tunnel lined with ginkgo trees and Chinese maple trees. Palgongsan Ring Road is a 12.2km road that runs from Palgong CC Intersection to Pagyesa Intersection, and maple trees and cherry blossom trees create beautiful scenery at high altitudes.
Gatbawi Hiking Trail and Apsan Foothill Trail are popular walking and hiking trails.
