A few days ago, I went to Korea University with a friend to take graduation photos. It was my first time at Korea University, and as expected, the campus itself was really cool and full of a historical atmosphere. Today, I will introduce Korea University to you as if I had actually visited there!
Korea University is a prestigious private university in Korea, founded in 1905. It is called 'Korea University' for short, and is a school with a high reputation not only in Korea but also throughout Asia! The moment I approached the main gate of Korea University, I was overwhelmed by the truly old-fashioned and magnificent atmosphere.
The lawn in front of the main building and the statue in front of it were definitely the most impressive! This statue is of Professor Lee Jong-wook. Professor Lee Jong-wook is a person who contributed greatly to the growth and development of the school during the time of Boseong College, the predecessor of Korea University. Korea University students felt such pride in this space that they called this statue the “center of Korea University.” If you take a picture in front of this statue in the afternoon when the sun is shining, it will come out really well! This is 'π-Ville' where the Department of Media Studies at Korea University is located! It is a sensational container-style building, completely different from the traditional main building of Korea University. This is a space that symbolizes creativity, experimentation, and convergence, and is mainly a space where the Department of Media Studies students conduct classes, projects, and research activities. The exterior is made up of colorful containers in red, orange, white, and gray, and it is really pretty!
This time, thanks to a friend, I got to see Korea University. And I also explored some great restaurants near Korea University. It was a great experience!
