The thing I do the most during the 5 years I've lived in Korea is taking pictures. When I travel to Korea or want to spend a special day with friends, one thing I can't miss is the self-photo booth. Today, I'm going to introduce you to 3 self-photo booths that I often go to: Photoism, Haru Film, and Mono Mansion.
First, I'd like to introduce Photoism. If you're looking for a vibrant and colorful atmosphere, Photoism is the place to go. They have a wide selection of props, and the backgrounds are cute and brightly colored, making it a great place to visit with friends. With a variety of props like animal ear headbands, stuffed toys, and hats, you can take a ton of different photos! My friends and I went to Photoism near Korea University, and they even had a tiger doll, the university's symbol! Haha.
Next up is Momo Mansion. If you like a clean, modern, black-and-white vibe, I recommend Mono Mansion. The emotional neutral tones and minimal props emphasize natural expressions and moods. I always go to Momo Mansion whenever I want to take atmospheric photos. These kinds of atmospheric photos are incredibly popular these days.
Lastly, there's Harufilm. Harufilm is the brightest selfie booth of the three. Plus, the background theme changes seasonally, and cute decorative stickers are automatically applied to your photos, making it easy to decorate. My friends and I took some photos, and then decorated them for quite a while. It was quite fun. Prices usually range from 4,000 to 5,000 won. It's affordable, so you can take photos without any worries!
Photoism, Harufilm, and Monomansion seem to be cultural experiences that allow young Koreans to share their emotions, record moments, and express themselves in a fun way. They're great for creating memories with friends or capturing emotional moments on your own. Do you enjoy taking photos?
