TOPIK study method for international students
2025. 10. 16.
hello everyone! Today, I'd like to share some study tips for the TOPIK (Test of Proficiency in Korean) for those of you preparing to study abroad in Korea or already studying in Korea. I hope this helps. I still vividly remember how daunting it felt when I first started learning Korean. At first, the pronunciation was difficult and the grammar was complex, and I wondered, "Will I ever be able to do it?" I've now achieved Level 6 (270 points)! If you study consistently, you too can achieve great results. , 1️⃣ Learn vocabulary steadily, a little bit every day , First, vocabulary is incredibly important. Honestly, I think the TOPIK exam is a battle of words. Whether you're reading or listening, your score is ultimately determined by how many words you know. I aimed to memorize 50 words a day. Of course, it wasn't easy. Still, I still remember the days when I prepared for the TOPIK exam, writing them down in my notebook and memorizing them. , 2️⃣ Pronunciation! , And when I first started learning Korean, the most difficult thing for me was pronunciation. Looking back, I think pronunciation is incredibly important. While I could easily memorize the letters, when I actually spoke them out loud, I often found them awkward and incorrect. Consonants like "ㄷ" and "ㅈ" in particular had different pronunciations depending on the word, so it was crucial to learn the differences accurately. International students, you'll be living in Korea for a long time, so you'll understand the importance of pronunciation when communicating with Koreans. , 3️⃣ Topic writing section! , The final step is writing. Did you know that there's a "formula" for the TOPIK writing section, not just a "feel"? Maintaining a structure is more important than writing long sentences. For example, using connectives like "firstly, also, and therefore" appropriately creates a much more logical impression. I practiced by repeatedly using a TOPIK textbook with lots of example sentences. I recommend practicing along with the textbook. Also, at the intermediate and advanced levels, memorizing a few introduction and conclusion sentences is incredibly convenient. You can just write them out for the test! , Today, I shared some study tips for the TOPIK exam. I hope you all achieve great results. I'll always be rooting for you. Fighting! Have a nice day today~

Travel to Suwon, Korea!
2025. 10. 16.
hello~ Today, I'd like to introduce some food and attractions to international students planning a trip to Suwon. Let's take a look together. , 1️⃣ Suwon Fried Chicken , I heard that Suwon's "Tongdak Street" is incredibly famous, and I went there myself this time. As soon as you enter the alley, the savory smell of oil wafts through the air. It's truly "chicken heaven" haha. Each store has an old sign. We ordered fried chicken and seasoned chicken, and as soon as we took a bite, I thought, "Ah, this is the taste of Suwon!" It was truly delicious. There were more foreign tourists than I expected, and it seems like the fried chicken is delicious to foreigners too! , 2️⃣ Suwon Hwaseong Palace , In the evening, I went to Suwon Hwaseong Temporary Palace. The lights were on because it was nighttime, and the red pillars and blue Dancheong (traditional Korean painting) were truly beautiful. With quiet music playing and a gentle breeze blowing, I felt like I'd been transported to another era. I heard that the Temporary Palace is where King Jeongjo of Joseon stayed to visit his father, Crown Prince Sado's tomb, and that it's a historic site steeped in his filial piety and dedication. Knowing that it was also where King Jeongjo himself resided made it even more meaningful. I also went inside to see the filming locations for the drama Dae Jang Geum. , 3️⃣ Suwon Byeolmadang Library , The last place I visited was the Byeolmadang Library inside Suwon Starfield . I've also been to the Byeolmadang Library in COEX, Seoul, but the Suwon branch felt even warmer and prettier. On the softly lit stairs, there were people reading, couples taking pictures, and students studying on their laptops. Everyone seemed to be having their own time, haha. , Suwon was a much more charming city than I expected. It truly felt like a city where past and present, people and flavors, coexist. I'd love to come back again sometime if I have time. Have a nice day everyone~

Seoul Gyeongbokgung Palace Tour
2025. 10. 16.
Hello everyone~ I recently went to the Jongno area. Because it was the Chuseok holiday, Gyeongbokgung Palace was open for free. So I took a tour. Have you guys been to Gyeongbokgung Palace? , 1️⃣ Gwanghwamun Square , I saw a large banner near the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts, in front of the statue of Admiral Yi Sun-sin, on the Jongno side of Gwanghwamun Square. It was so moving that I took a photo. It read, "Strange, but being alive is a truly precariously beautiful thing." I learned that this banner was one of the winning entries in the 2025 Cultural Plaza Design Competition, part of a citizen-participatory project to add art and sensibility to various parts of downtown Seoul. , 2️⃣ Introduction to Gyeongbokgung Palace , As I was walking, I arrived at Gyeongbokgung Palace. Gyeongbokgung Palace was the central palace of the Joseon Dynasty, or the main palace. The name "Gyeongbok (景福)" is said to mean "be blessed with great fortune and prosperity." It was built in 1395 and has been damaged and restored several times since, including during the Imjin War. During the Japanese colonial period, many buildings were demolished or damaged while building the Government-General of Korea. Restoration work began in earnest in the 1990s. Gyeongbokgung Palace contains several buildings, including Geunjeongjeon Hall, where the king administered state affairs; Gyeonghoeru Pavilion, where royal ceremonies and banquets were held; and the queen's bedroom. It was larger than I expected, so it took quite a while to see everything. , 3️⃣ Gyeongbokgung Palace is free during the Chuseok holiday. , During the Chuseok holiday period (October 3rd - October 9th), the four grand palaces of Seoul (Gyeongbokgung, Changdeokgung, Deoksugung, and Changgyeonggung), Jongmyo Shrine, and the Joseon Royal Tombs were open to the public for free! Since the day I went was right during the Chuseok holiday period, admission was free. There were more people than I expected. Also, during this period, Gyeongbokgung Palace held the Changing of the Guard Ceremony, the Royal Guard Patrol Ceremony, and the Gwanghwamun Guard Ceremony. Afterward, I took pictures with many tourists. , Do you guys like Gyeongbokgung Palace? Have a nice day~

Seoul Street Arts Festival 2025
2025. 10. 13.
Hello everyone! On a day when the autumn sky in Seoul was crystal clear, I happened to be passing by the plaza in front of City Hall when I stumbled upon the "Seoul Street Arts Festival 2025." Today, I'd like to introduce you to the Seoul Street Arts Festival 2025. , 1️⃣ Introducing the Seoul Street Arts Festival 2025 , The Seoul Street Arts Festival is Korea's largest street arts festival held every fall. This year, about 40 teams from 12 countries around the world participated. In front of City Hall, Seoul Plaza was set up with a large sculpture and a stage, and around it, cute Seoul character 'Haechi' balloons wearing traditional costumes were welcoming us. With the phrase "Chuseok, Seoul is full of joy, Haechi!", the entire city was brightened with the spirit of the festival. , The Seoul Street Arts Festival runs from October 5 to 9, 2025, daily from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A variety of performances, including dance, circus, street theater, and installation art, unfold across downtown Seoul—particularly at Seoul Plaza, Deoksugung-gil, Cheonggye Plaza, and Sejong-daero. I witnessed a performance in the middle of a plaza, where dancers danced to rhythm. Their movements mesmerized the sounds of the city, and the phrase "the moment when art seeps into the city" truly resonated with me. , 2️⃣ Introducing the Seoul Street Arts Festival 2025 2 , The festival isn't just about stage performances; it blends various genres and formats. A major strength of this festival is that most street performances and installations are free to view! However, the festival information page notes that some special stages may require reservations or require a fee. , If you're an international student who wants to truly experience Seoul's autumn, I highly recommend visiting the Seoul Street Arts Festival next year. The vibrant energy of the festival, conveying emotions even across different languages, is truly impressive. Walking the streets itself becomes a performance, and the city itself becomes your stage for a truly special experience. have a good day!

Travel to Suwon, Korea
2025. 10. 13.
Hello everyone~ What did you all do for Chuseok? I had a great time and ate well. Today, I'll introduce you to a place worth visiting in Suwon, a city near Seoul. , 1️⃣ Suwon Hwaseong Fortress , As I was walking along the fortress wall, which was starting to get dark, I came across a charming cafe. I took a break, had a cup of tea, and enjoyed the night view. This cafe is located in Haenggung-dong, right in front of Hwaseong Haenggung Palace. I loved the view of Hwaseong Fortress and the surrounding scenery. The atmosphere was quiet, and the lighting was soft, making it the perfect place to relax. , 2️⃣ Suwon Hwaseong Media Art , Coming out of the cafe, I saw something promoting the Suwon Hwaseong Media Art Program. This festival started in 2021! It's a nighttime art festival that reinterprets King Jeongjo's dreams and Joseon's values through light and video, with Suwon Hwaseong Fortress as the backdrop. This year, it runs from September 27 to October 12, 2025, every night from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The venue is Hwaseomun Gate, Janganmun Gate, and Jangan Park. And admission is free! This media art also uses AI and special effects, creating many scenes that are much more three-dimensional and immersive. , The media art wasn't just a beautiful display of light; it also conveyed the message of harmony and inclusion that King Jeongjo dreamed of, which was incredibly moving. The passage itself, with light and video streaming across the walls and subtle effects spreading as visitors walked, was truly a work of art. If you happen to be in Suwon, don't miss it! I had a wonderful afternoon in Suwon. Have a nice day, everyone!

Suwon Changyongmun
2025. 10. 13.
Hello everyone Today, I'll continue my Suwon travel story. After leaving the Suwon Hwaseong Museum, I slowly walked along the fortress walls, eventually heading toward Changyongmun Gate. Next, I visited Banghwasuryujeong Pavilion. , 1️⃣ Changyongmun - Suwon , 'Changryong' means blue dragon, so it contains the meaning of a gate that protects the east! If you look at traditional martial arts drawings, the east corresponds to the blue dragon, so the name must have that symbolism. Although Changryongmun is small in size, it is said to have a structure that emphasizes military and defensive functions. Part of Changryongmun was destroyed during the Korean War and was restored in 1976. Its original name was the East Gate Tower, but now it is often called 'Changryongmun'. The restored stone and wooden parts blend together, giving it a feeling of past and present overlapping. , The weather was nice, so I even saw a rabbit in a nearby lawn. It was so cute that it caught the attention of passersby. It's been so long since I've been this close to nature, my head feels clear and my heart feels at ease. I think my stress has also eased a lot. , 2️⃣ Firefighting Water Tank - Suwon , Passing Changryongmun Gate, walking a little further, you'll come across a forest path and a walking trail, finally arriving at Banghwasuryujeong Pavilion. The name Banghwasuryujeong means "seeing flowers and following willows." Its name seems to perfectly complement the surrounding landscape of flowers, trees, and a pond. Banghwasuryujeong was built in 1794, the 18th year of King Jeongjo's reign. The pavilion's lower section is a pond, while its upper section is a pavilion, making it a perfect spot for admiring the scenery. , Walking from Changryongmun Gate to Banghwasuryujeong Pavilion was fun, with the fortress walls and natural scenery woven together. If you ever visit Suwon, try this walk! Just be sure to wear sneakers or comfortable shoes. , Have a nice day~

Suwon, Korea Travel - Suwon Hwaseong Museum
2025. 10. 13.
hello everyone! I went to Suwon with a friend during the Chuseok holiday. Honestly, this was my first time in Suwon, so I was excited. It was only about an hour from Seoul by subway, making it a perfect day trip! The most memorable place was the Suwon Hwaseong Museum. , 1️⃣ Introduction to Suwon Hwaseong Museum , As soon as I entered the museum, I saw a large logo reading "Suwon Hwaseong Museum." It felt more like a modern art gallery than a traditional museum. A comprehensive museum guide is located near the entrance, and it's well-written in both Korean and English, so I think it'll be a comfortable experience even for international friends! , 2️⃣ Inside Suwon Hwaseong Museum , Entering the exhibition hall, the first thing that catches your eye is a model of King Jeongjo's procession and a video room. A 360-degree curved screen vividly recreates King Jeongjo's "Hwaseong Procession." As the massive procession moved and drums rang, I felt as if I had truly stepped into that era. I also learned for the first time why King Jeongjo built Hwaseong Fortress, and how it wasn't simply a military fortress, but a planned city for the people. , The next exhibition room featured doll models and costumes recreating a procession scene. The vibrant red, yellow, and blue costumes were eye-catching. Further inside, there was a model exhibit titled "Bongsudang Jinchanyeon." This reenactment of the banquet King Jeongjo gave for his mother, Lady Hyegyeong Hong, allowed me to truly experience the splendor of Joseon Dynasty royal culture. , The Suwon Hwaseong Museum is a place where you can experience real history firsthand! I think it would be a great place for Korean students to visit as well. If international students want to experience Korean culture more deeply, I highly recommend visiting the Suwon Hwaseong Museum! Have a nice day~

Korean Dentistry
2025. 10. 13.
Hello everyone~ A few days ago, I suddenly felt a sharp, throbbing pain in my tooth, which was incredibly uncomfortable. As an international student living in Korea, going to the hospital can sometimes feel a bit burdensome. I worried, "Dental care is going to be expensive..." but thankfully, I have national health insurance, so I guess that's a relief. , 1️⃣ Korean Dentistry , The place I went to this time was Seoul National University Dental Hospital in Gwanak, near my home. It's the closest dental clinic to my house, and since it's a university hospital, I felt confident. Upon arriving and entering, the information desk was right in front of me, and the waiting room was clean and quiet. The staff were very helpful and helpful, so I think even first-time international students won't have to worry. , 2️⃣ Korean Dental Discounts , This visit was a simple examination and X-ray. The total cost was 17,760 won, of which I actually paid 7,100 won! I received a whopping 10,000 won in subsidies from my health insurance. If you have Korean National Health Insurance, you can get significant discounts on most hospital bills, not just dental bills. In particular, basic treatments like scaling, cavity fillings, X-rays, and tooth extractions often receive discounts of 50% or more! , 3️⃣ Experience with Korean dental care , Before my appointment, I simply registered at the reception desk and explained my symptoms to the doctor in charge. After treatment, I received a receipt detailing my insurance coverage. I could see at a glance how much I had to pay out-of-pocket and how much my insurance would cover, which made the process transparent and trustworthy. , This time, I felt that Korea's national health insurance system is really well-established. It's great that I can go to the hospital right away when I'm sick, without having to worry about significant out-of-pocket expenses. Dental care can be expensive in other countries, but in Korea, thanks to insurance, I can receive treatment at a reasonable price. Have you ever been to a dentist in Korea? , Have a nice day~

Samcheong-dong, Seoul
2025. 10. 13.
hello everyone! Do you know what the hottest place in Seoul is these days? There's a saying these days: "Samcheong-dong is better than Seongsu-dong." I've been to Seongsu-dong many times, but I've never been to Samcheong-dong, so I was curious and went for the first time this time. It was prettier than I expected, and I was very satisfied! I took a lot of beautiful pictures! , 1️⃣ Introduction to Samcheong-dong, Seoul , Samcheong-dong is a legal and administrative district in Jongno-gu, Seoul. Recently, it's been gaining attention as a cultural and artistic space, blending traditional Korean houses with modern architecture. Many old Korean houses still remain in the alleys, and these renovated buildings are now filled with cafes, galleries, workshops, and small restaurants. A variety of styles coexist, including brunch cafes, garden cafes, and rooftop terrace cafes. There are so many beautiful cafes that it was hard to decide which one to visit. , Venturing into the alleys off the main street reveals many quiet spaces with fewer visitors, and it's fun to discover unexpected landscapes and small works of art within them. Unlike downtown Seoul, it felt relaxed and leisurely. There were so many photogenic spots that many people were snapping photos. At the corner with the "Bukchon-ro 5-gil" sign, sunlight filtered through the old brick buildings, creating a beautiful scene. I took a picture. , 2️⃣ Introduction to Samcheong-dong, Seoul 2 , And there were so many buildings with Hanok-like design. I really love Hanok, so I was so happy. It was a day where I could fully experience the traditional beauty of Seoul. The scenery of brick walls and traditional roofs harmoniously resembled a "small village in Seoul." I understood why Samcheong-dong is called "a street that's just nice to walk." Every scene felt like a movie. , Have you ever been to Samcheong-dong? If you haven't been yet, definitely go this weekend!! Have a nice day~

Korean wedding
2025. 10. 13.
hello everyone! One day during the Chuseok holiday, I attended a friend's wedding. It was my first Christian wedding in Korea, and as an international student, it was a truly fascinating cultural experience. Let's take a look. , 1️⃣ Korean Wedding - Gift Culture , In Korea, when attending a wedding, it's common to prepare an envelope called a "wedding gift." The photo shows the gift I prepared. Inside, you put cash. I found out that it's common to give around 50,000 won for friends or acquaintances, and 100,000 to 300,000 won or more for close relatives or family. To give a wedding gift, you sign your name in the guestbook at the reception desk at the entrance to the wedding hall and hand over the envelope. You'll also receive a wedding program and meal tickets there. , 2️⃣ Korean Christian Wedding Ceremony , This wedding was a Christian ceremony held in a church. A cross adorned with white cloth glowed softly on the pulpit, and white flowers adorned both sides, creating a truly beautiful atmosphere. Because it was a worship service, it was a bit different from a typical hotel wedding. The ceremony began with a pastor leading the ceremony. Korean Christian weddings tend to be more refined than extravagant. , 3️⃣ Korean Wedding - Attire , And most of the attendees were dressed neatly. They mostly chose muted colors like beige, navy, black, and pastel tones. I looked it up and found that it's considered polite to look less conspicuous than the bride. So, it's best to avoid white! I wore black, haha. , Korean Christian weddings were truly impressive. Rather than a flashy stage, they seemed to be filled with heartfelt prayers and blessings. Have you ever been to a wedding in Korea? Have a nice day~

Ewha Womans University, Korea
2025. 10. 7.
hello everyone! Did you have a good Chuseok holiday? Today is one of the Chuseok holidays! It's been drizzling since morning, but I couldn't give up on visiting Ewha Womans University, which I promised my friend. Today, I'll introduce you to Ewha Womans University in Korea! , 1️⃣ First impressions of Ewha Womans University , As soon as I arrived at the main gate, a grand 'EWHA WOMANS UNIVERSITY' sign greeted me. Perhaps because of the rain, the campus atmosphere seemed more calm. It was so peaceful to see students and tourists walking back and forth with umbrellas on the rain-soaked road. The wall right next to the main gate was decorated with a white floral relief mural, which was so pretty. I even took a picture in front of it with my friend. Looking closely, I could see that the petals on the stone were each carefully carved, and it seemed to symbolize 'Ewha', the symbol of Ewha. Maybe because it rained, the wall was slightly wet, giving it an even more subtle feel. , 2️⃣ Ewha Womans University, Korea , As I walked up the hill past the entrance, a magnificent Gothic building loomed over me in the distance. The stone exterior and large arched windows gave it a European feel. The sight of people strolling along the path, holding umbrellas, was truly cinematic. Ewha Womans University is one of the oldest women's universities in Korea. It 's also renowned for its beautiful campus! , After a walk around campus, I had a warm cup of coffee with a friend on the street near Ewha Womans University. Thanks to the rain, the streets were quiet, making it even more relaxing, and the view of the campus from the window was breathtaking. I think this is a must-visit for international students. It was wonderful to witness the harmony of traditional Korean campus and Western-style architecture. Have a nice day today!

It was so cute, I asked her about it, and she told me it was only available to international students. So I followed suit and applied for one too. Haha. Let's take a look together, shall we? , 1️⃣ Introducing Shinhan Card Global U Card , A few days ago, I finally received the Shinhan Card SOL Global U card I'd been waiting for! The sparkly purple card featured the adorable Kuromi, and I was completely captivated the moment I saw it. There aren't many cards available to international students, but this one was perfect because anyone with an alien registration card could apply. Hello everyone! Next week is Hangeul Day! Today, I'd like to introduce Hangeul Day to you. Let's watch together! , 1️⃣ Introduction to Hangeul Day , Hangeul Day, celebrated annually on October 9th, commemorates the promulgation of the Korean alphabet, Hangeul (Hunminjeongeum). Hangeul is a writing system created by King Sejong the Great to enable people to read and write easily and correctly. Now, it is legally recognized as a national holiday, further emphasizing the importance of the event. , 2️⃣ 2025 Hangeul Day , To celebrate Hangeul Day in 2025, various regions and organizations are preparing various cultural events. For example, Sejong City is planning a marathon event called Hangeul Run under the theme of “Hangeul in Sejong.” It is said that two courses will be held: a 10.9km course for Hangeul Day and a 5.15km course to commemorate King Sejong’s birthday. There are also announcements of Hangeul exhibitions, experience booths, and music performances being prepared throughout the country. For example, “Hangeul × Tradition” collaboration goods and design products incorporating traditional patterns are being posted on social media. , 3️⃣ International Students - Hangeul Day , Do you have any plans for Hangeul Day? I hope my fellow international students will also use this Hangeul Day as an opportunity to fall in love with the Korean language and its language even more. Have a nice day~

Studying abroad at Chung-Ang University in Korea - Film Festival
2025. 10. 1.
hello everyone! It's been really tough since the semester started. It's important to get plenty of rest when you're feeling down, right? That's why I participated in an event at Chung-Ang University that was full of the autumn spirit: a film festival. It was truly a healing experience. Haha. , 1️⃣ Life as a student in Korea 1 , The event took place from the morning on the lawn in front of Building 302 and along the street behind the building. In the evening, an outdoor film festival was held at the soccer field in front of Building 310, filling the campus with a cultural festival all day long. I couldn't attend because I had an exam in the morning, so I only went to the evening film festival. , 2️⃣ Life as a student in Korea 2 , The long-awaited nighttime film festival began at 6:30 p.m. A large screen was set up on one side of the soccer field in front of Theater 310, and yellow and pink bean bags were neatly arranged on the lawn. I leisurely took a seat, got some popcorn and a drink, and even turned on the mood lighting from the Phuang I'd received. Haha, the weather was so nice that just lying down was so healing! , 3️⃣ Life as a student in Korea 3 , The film screening that day was "Begin Again (2014)." This film, which tells the story of people who start their lives anew through music, offers a quiet and warm comfort to those of us who live busy lives. While it doesn't have a happy ending, it was incredibly moving. I especially loved when "Lost Stars" started playing. I think I'll cherish that melody, heard under Seoul's autumn night sky, for a long time. , After watching the film, I realized, "We too are singing about this moment." This event was a moment to catch our breath and warm our hearts amidst our busy lives. Have a nice day everyone~

We had a quiet and relaxing time. , 1️⃣ Seoul - Yeouido Hangang Park , First, I arrived at Yeouido Hangang Park. The red-lit buildings near IFC and the city lights create such beautiful colors that just sitting there felt healing. There were so many people sitting on the riverside lawn, laying out mats. My friend and I shared a mat, laughing and chatting while sharing delivery food. , 2️⃣ Seoul - A walk along the Han River , Just a short walk down from Yeouido Hangang Park, you'll find a path leading to Nodeul Island. Haha, enjoy Seoul's fall to the fullest! have a good day!

Today, I'll introduce you to the Seoul Hangang Bus. , 1️⃣ Introduction to Seoul Hangang Bus , The Seoul Hangang Bus's most distinctive feature is its "water public transportation." Designed to allow passengers to experience Seoul's sights along the river while avoiding road congestion, it offers both sightseeing and transportation. This "bus" connects seven docks: Magok, Mangwon, Yeouido, Apgujeong, Oksu, Ttukseom, and Jamsil, and covers a total length of approximately 28.9 km. , 2️⃣ Seoul Hangang Bus operating hours and fares , Initially, it was announced that the first ferry would depart at 11:00 AM starting September 18th, with the last ferry arriving at 9:37 PM, for a total of 14 daily departures. While the frequency varies by pier, it's generally every 1 to 1.5 hours. The fare is 3,000 won per ride. If you use the Gifu Toll Free Card, you can ride unlimitedly for an additional 5,000 won. There are many subway stations and bus stops near the pier, making it incredibly convenient. , Today, I introduced you to the Seoul Hangang Bus. I think I should try riding it too. I've decided to go with a friend next week. Haha. Have a nice day~

Located in Yeongdo-gu, Busan, Huinnyeoul Culture Village was originally a refugee settlement during the Korean War. Over time, the old houses have been reborn as an art and culture village. The buildings face the sea and are nestled between hills and coastal cliffs, offering ocean views at every step. And with no admission fee, it's definitely worth a visit! , 2️⃣ Busan Gamcheon Culture Village , The second place I'd like to introduce is Gamcheon Culture Village. It's located in Gamcheon-dong, Saha-gu, Busan. It's also close to the Huinnyeoul Culture Village. This village is a feast for the eyes, with its colorful houses, alleys, murals, and sculptures. And if you head to the observatory atop the hill in Gamcheon Culture Village, you'll find a photo zone featuring a yellow Little Prince and a fox sculpture sitting side by side. This is a truly "life-changing" photo spot! Haha. , 3️⃣ Busan Bupyeong Kkangtong Market , If you're traveling to Busan, you absolutely must visit the market! Bupyeong Kkangtong Market is located along Bupyeong 1-gil in Jung-gu, Busan. This area is famous for its fish cake street. They have a variety of fish cakes, including street-style fish cakes, skewered fish cakes, and fried fish cakes. The texture and flavor of Busan's fish cakes are truly unique. I had seafood kalguksu, which was delicious. There are plenty of other dessert options, and at night, the market transforms into a night market with beautiful lighting. It's definitely worth a visit! , Busan has so many new and beautiful places to visit, so there's always something to talk about. If you're planning a trip to Busan during Chuseok, I hope this helps! have a good day!

It's fun to decide what to eat, and many say the prices are reasonable enough for students to enjoy. , 3️⃣ Introduction to Korean University Festivals 3 - Chung-Ang University , One of the most anticipated aspects of the festival is the lineup of artist performances. The Chung-Ang University Fall Festival was a bit smaller than the summer festival, which was a bit disappointing, but it was still a really enjoyable time amidst the tiring school life. I'm especially excited for the upcoming 10CM concert. , Are you enjoying your school's fall festivals, international students? Korean university festivals are must-sees for international students! Enjoy them to the fullest in Korea! Have a nice day~

2025. 9. 15.
hello~ Today, I'd like to introduce you to a hotel! A friend recently came to visit Korea, and we stayed in Myeongdong, a must-visit place for foreigners. Myeongdong is known for its bustling, touristy atmosphere, so I was a bit hesitant about where to stay. But after staying there, I was surprisingly satisfied! Let's take a look together! , 1️⃣ Introduction to Myeongdong accommodations 1 , The moment I entered the room, I was immediately struck by its cleanliness and subtle fragrance. It was a cozy size, perfect for two people. While not spacious, I felt comfortable there, and best of all, I loved the spa facilities. This is Jongno Ondo Hotel & Spa! , 2️⃣ Introduction to Myeongdong accommodations 2 , What impressed me most about this room were the little details. First of all, the tea bags provided weren't just any tea, but Jeju Island's famous Osulloc brand! It was exactly my favorite brand of tea, and it tasted great. ㅎㅎ And for someone who loves music, this was a great point... The high-end speakers installed in the room🎶. I looked into the brand and found out that it was quite famous. I lay down at night with Taylor Swift playing and it was the happiest feeling in the world. The room was also quite quiet, so I didn't have to worry about noise! , And personally, my favorite part was that the shower and bathroom were separate! When you travel with a friend, your shower and bathroom schedules often overlap. But here, we could use them simultaneously without worrying about that, which was incredibly convenient. I think details like this are really great. At night, my friend and I took a walk along Cheonggyecheon Stream near our accommodation. We could get there in two minutes from our accommodation. And if you walk all the way to the end, you'll soon be in Myeongdong. There are plenty of great restaurants and great shopping, so it was a perfect way to end the day! , Today, I introduced you to a hotel. I'll bring you more interesting content next time! A review of the night view of Cheonggyecheon Stream in Korea
2025. 8. 25.
Hello everyone~ Have you ever been to Cheonggyecheon Stream in Dongdaemun? I highly recommend it if you're studying abroad in Korea. Yesterday, I stopped by Dongdaemun Dundun to buy a birthday present for a friend, and then took a walk to Cheonggyecheon Stream for the first time in a while. Today, I'd like to introduce Cheonggyecheon to you all 😊 , 1️⃣ The History of Cheonggyecheon in Korea , Cheonggyecheon Stream has been a natural stream that has flowed through downtown Seoul since the Joseon Dynasty. During the Japanese colonial period and the industrialization period, it was covered over and used as a road. Restoration work began in 2003, and it reopened to the public in a new form in 2005. Now, it's a representative urban rest area in Seoul, where thousands of people stroll and rest every day. , 2️⃣ Night view of Cheonggyecheon in Korea , This time, I walked from near Dongdaemun Station to Gwangjang Market. This place is especially lively at night thanks to the soft lighting. Couples, friends, and even runners were all strolling along the riverside path. I was able to soak my feet in the water and enjoy the soothing sound of the water. ㅎㅎ The water was shallower than I expected, and while there was a bit of a current, it was relatively safe. , 3️⃣ Introduction to Cheonggyecheon in Korea , Cheonggyecheon Stream is a great place to just stroll aimlessly, but it's actually incredibly versatile. For example, it's a popular evening running spot for runners! It's also a great date spot! There are plenty of benches, and the lighting is perfect for taking photos. It's also a comfortable space for a solo stroll like mine. If, like me, you're not sure where to go after shopping in Dongdaemun, a trip to Cheonggyecheon might be a good idea. , And it's close to Gwangjang Market. I want to go to Gwangjang Market in the fall and then go to Cheonggyecheon again. have a good day!

When you think of Aladdin, many people probably think of the online bookstore, but they actually have a brick-and-mortar store as well. Today, I'd like to introduce you to Aladdin. , 1️⃣ Aladdin, a Korean used bookstore , This time, I visited the Aladdin Used Bookstore Yeongdeungpo branch in Yeongdeungpo, Seoul. It's conveniently located near Yeongdeungpo Station on Subway Line 1, and its connection to a large shopping mall makes it a great location for a bit of shopping. The interior of the store was very spacious and comfortable. The lighting was bright, and the floors were clean and well-maintained, so I didn't feel tired even after browsing for a long time. , The books were neatly organized by genre, making it easy to find what I wanted. I was particularly impressed by the "Comics" section, which featured a variety of series neatly organized. For comic book lovers, this place would be a paradise! , 2️⃣ Aladdin, a Korean used bookstore (album corner) , There's not only books, but also a music corner. They had everything from the latest hot K-pop albums to various LPs and independent music albums, and it seemed like new releases were arriving pretty quickly. My friend really liked the K-pop album, so I bought one. If you're a music lover, just browsing through the shelves would be a fun experience. , 3️⃣ Introducing Aladdin, a Korean used bookstore , Another great thing about Aladdin is that you can sell your used books directly! There's a dedicated used book sales desk in one corner of the store, so you can apply for sales online in advance or submit your books on-site. You can also check the availability of books on the Aladdin website in advance. , I thought Aladdin might be a good place for international students looking to buy used Korean books, so I've included it here. Aladdin has several locations nationwide, but inventory varies by location, so I recommend checking online before you go to see if they have the book you want. have a good day!

'Someone's Day Now' Pop-up at IFC Mall in Yeouido, Korea!
2025. 8. 25.
Hello everyone~ Yesterday, I went to the IFC Mall in Yeouido with a friend! To celebrate World Humanitarian Day, we opened a pop-up store there. Today, I'll share a review of the pop-up store. , 1️⃣ Introducing the Yeouido World Humanitarian Day Pop-up , August 19th is celebrated worldwide as World Humanitarian Day. Designated by the UN, it commemorates the humanitarian workers who perished in the 2003 bombing of the UN office in Baghdad, Iraq, and recognizes the efforts of those still helping those in crisis today. In celebration, World Vision, an international relief and development NGO, held a pop-up exhibition titled "Someone's Day Now" at the IFC Mall in Yeouido from August 17th to 25th. , 2️⃣ Introducing the Yeouido World Humanitarian Day Pop-up 1 , The exhibition consisted of four mission-based booths, allowing visitors to indirectly experience "A Day in the Life of a Humanitarian Activist." If you collected all the stamps at each booth, you could receive a cute Someone's Day keychain set as a gift! My friends and I all received one! Just looking at the keychains featuring activist characters was so healing! Haha. We also received some cute stickers. , The number of people whose lives are threatened daily by war, climate disasters, poverty, and other issues continues to grow worldwide. But as such news becomes increasingly familiar, I found this exhibition, which naturally brings the keyword "humanitarianism" to life in a shopping mall, truly precious and meaningful. I visited this pop-up store with friends and came away feeling deeply moved. , Next time you see an experiential exhibition like this, you should definitely stop by! We can all become "humanitarians"! have a good day!

Both are free and open to the public. , Opened in 2017 at Seoul's COEX Mall, Gangnam Byeolmadang Library has become much more than just a place to read books. In early 2024, Shinsegae introduced the Byeolmadang Library brand to its second location with the opening of Starfield, a large-scale shopping mall in Suwon. , 2️⃣ Byeolmadang Library - Gangnam , First of all, the Gangnam branch is located on the first basement level of Starfield COEX Mall at 513 Yeongdong-daero, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, making it very conveniently accessible from Samseong Station on Subway Line 2 or Bongeunsa Station on Subway Line 9! I got off at Samseong Station on Subway Line 2 and it was only a five-minute walk. As soon as you enter, the soft lighting and spacious atrium create a beautiful "book forest" feeling. The Gangnam branch is a cultural center open to everyone, with a spectacular view of a large bookshelf and many events. , 3️⃣ Byeolmadang Library - Suwon , The Suwon branch is a newly opened Byeolmadang Library, which opened on January 26, 2024. It's a relaxing reading space with a trendy LP listening area and a spacious layout. The Suwon Byeolmadang Library is located inside Starfield Mall in Jangan-gu, Suwon. It can be a bit tricky to find, so we recommend exploring the duplex layout from the 4th to the 7th floors. It has approximately 32,000 books and a cozy café. , Do you like the Gangnam branch better? Do you like the Suwon branch better? It's still vacation time, so when you have some free time, be sure to visit one of them according to your schedule! have a good day!

Even though it was my first time, he greeted me brightly and explained the menu to me. He was also very attentive to my needs, which made my meal enjoyable. The interior was warm and inviting with yellow lighting. It wasn't too loud, so we were able to chat while eating. After a delicious meal, I was able to go for a walk in Hongdae right away, which was nice. , The location is right here, 2nd floor, 40 Wawoosan-ro 23-gil, Mapo-gu, Seoul. I recommend it to anyone visiting Hongdae. I want to go back again next time, too. Have a nice day today~

2025 Seoul International Fireworks Festival
2025. 8. 16.
Hello everyone~ The Seoul International Fireworks Festival, a true symbol of Seoul's autumn, is back again this year! It's scheduled to be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025. Let's take a look together! , 1️⃣ Introducing the 2025 Seoul International Fireworks Festival , The Seoul International Fireworks Festival, jointly organized by Hanwha Group and the Seoul Metropolitan Government, is a dazzling multimedia fireworks show featuring world-class fireworks production teams, complete with music and laser effects. The main fireworks show begins at 7 p.m. The dazzling fireworks, music, and lasers... I'm really looking forward to it. Below are some photos I took when I went last year. , 2️⃣ Experience the 2024 Seoul International Fireworks Festival , When I attended last year's event, I realized that securing a spot early was key. With so many people, I realized you really had to get there at least a few hours in advance to get your desired spot. I remember arriving early with a friend and waiting for a long time to secure our spot. Thanks to that effort, we were able to see the fireworks up close. , 3️⃣ Where to watch the Seoul International Fireworks Festival , So where should you go to see it? Yeouido Hangang Park is the most central location, but you can also enjoy it leisurely at Ichon Park, Nodeul Island, the southern end of Wonhyo Bridge, and Banpo. If you're looking for a quiet spot, these are also good options. I saw it near Nodeul Island last year. It was less crowded than Yeouido and not as crowded, which was nice. And don't forget to bring a mat, warm outerwear, and blankets! , Everyone, don't miss this year's Seoul International Fireworks Festival! I'm already looking forward to it. Have a nice day~!

Korean selfie culture
2025. 8. 16.
hello everyone! The thing I do the most during the 5 years I've lived in Korea is taking pictures. When I travel to Korea or want to spend a special day with friends, one thing I can't miss is the self-photo booth. Today, I'm going to introduce you to 3 self-photo booths that I often go to: Photoism, Haru Film, and Mono Mansion. , 1️⃣ Korean Selfie - Photoism , First, I'd like to introduce Photoism. If you're looking for a vibrant and colorful atmosphere, Photoism is the place to go. They have a wide selection of props, and the backgrounds are cute and brightly colored, making it a great place to visit with friends. With a variety of props like animal ear headbands, stuffed toys, and hats, you can take a ton of different photos! My friends and I went to Photoism near Korea University, and they even had a tiger doll, the university's symbol! Haha. , 2️⃣ Korean Selfie - Mono Mansion , Next up is Momo Mansion. If you like a clean, modern, black-and-white vibe, I recommend Mono Mansion. The emotional neutral tones and minimal props emphasize natural expressions and moods. I always go to Momo Mansion whenever I want to take atmospheric photos. These kinds of atmospheric photos are incredibly popular these days. , 3️⃣ Korean Selfie - Haru Film , Lastly, there's Harufilm. Harufilm is the brightest selfie booth of the three. Plus, the background theme changes seasonally, and cute decorative stickers are automatically applied to your photos, making it easy to decorate. My friends and I took some photos, and then decorated them for quite a while. It was quite fun. Prices usually range from 4,000 to 5,000 won. It's affordable, so you can take photos without any worries! , Photoism, Harufilm, and Monomansion seem to be cultural experiences that allow young Koreans to share their emotions, record moments, and express themselves in a fun way. They're great for creating memories with friends or capturing emotional moments on your own. Do you enjoy taking photos? have a good day!

Liberation Day
2025. 8. 12.
Hello everyone~ Do you know what day this Friday is? It's Liberation Day! Today, let's learn about Liberation Day together! , 1️⃣ Korean Liberation Day , Liberation Day, celebrated annually on August 15th, commemorates the liberation of both South Korea and North Korea from Japanese colonial rule (1910–1945). This national holiday commemorates the significant historical moment of liberation from Japanese colonial rule and the restoration of sovereignty. In South Korea, Liberation Day is deeply meaningful, as it is associated with the establishment of the Provisional Government and commemorates the dedication of independence activists. , 2️⃣ Introduction to Korean Liberation Day , Last week, I visited Nodeul Island in Seoul, where it was transformed into a meaningful space to commemorate the 80th anniversary of Korea's liberation. A large Taegeukgi display, swept through the river breeze, was a spectacular sight, and the space offered a glimpse into the history of the Taegeukgi from past to present. A representative display included 16 Taegeukgis, displayed chronologically, ranging from the "Denny Taegeukgi" from the late Joseon Dynasty in the 1880s to those from the Korean Liberation Army and the Provisional Government. , 3️⃣ Korean Liberation Day Event , The Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs will hold a commemorative event on the lawn of the National Assembly Building on August 14th, commemorating the 80th anniversary of Korea's liberation, from 8:15 PM for approximately two hours and 30 minutes. This event goes beyond a simple national anniversary and is a citizen-participatory project designed to transform various areas of downtown Seoul into "spaces where people can experience history and culture." Many famous singers will also perform. , Liberation Day was a moment that expanded beyond a simple commemoration to a space where you could see and experience history firsthand on Nodeul Island . If you have the chance, I recommend visiting Nodeul Island and experiencing Korean history. I went there and was deeply impressed. Have a nice day~!

Experience making cute dolls in Korea
2025. 8. 7.
Hello everyone~ I went on a really cute craft experience in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul. This was a class where we made our own puppy dolls using only yarn! If you enjoy this kind of experience, check it out! , 1️⃣ Cute doll making experience 1 , In this class, you'll choose one of 15 popular dog breeds and create your own miniature puppy head doll using yarn. I chose a Pomeranian, and its soft, adorable texture feels just like a real puppy. This is an easy program for everyone, from children to adults! The instructor was very helpful and guided step-by-step, making it easy for even beginners to follow along. , 2️⃣ Cute doll making experience 2 , And the entire process was explained step-by-step and demonstrated. Winding and trimming the yarn required a certain amount of concentration, but seeing the finished doll was incredibly rewarding. There were 15 dog breeds to choose from, including the Bichon Frise, Maltese, Poodle, Yorkshire Terrier, and Welsh Corgi! If you love dogs, I highly recommend making one! , 3️⃣ Cute doll making experience 3 , The experience fee includes making one doll, using all the necessary yarn, materials, and tools. You don't need to bring anything of your own. It's vacation time, so aren't you bored at home? If you're looking for something indoors because it's too hot outside, or if you're looking for a unique hobby and a cute souvenir from Seoul, I highly recommend the doll-making experience! , It was a very satisfying experience for me. Do you guys like making dolls? Have a nice day~

A special pottery experience in Korea
2025. 8. 6.
Hello everyone~ A while ago, I had a pottery experience at Studio Zino in Eunpyeong-gu, Seoul. It was a really fun and rewarding experience. Let's take a look together! , 1️⃣ Ceramics Experience Contents , This experience is divided into two main parts. The first involves making a ceramic flute, and the second involves making a ceramic cup. I made a flute, and it was a truly fun and sensory experience. I got to work with the clay, shaping it piece by piece, and it was incredibly immersive. , 2️⃣ Pottery experience , What I loved most was that tea, snacks, and short performances were interspersed throughout the experience. While the performances weren't anything grand, Gino's unique sound performances were heartwarming and healing. A diverse group of people participated—children, parents, friends, and couples—and everyone quietly and happily made pottery! , 3️⃣ Pottery Experience Price , The price is 30,000 won per person. It includes everything from materials to hands-on experience, tea time, and even a performance, so I thought it was a great value. Operating hours are 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. You can also try your hand at the potter's wheel, and the finished product will be fired in a kiln and delivered a few days later! , The finished ceramics are delivered to you by courier after a while, making them a valuable souvenir for display or collection. If you're looking for a unique and emotional experience in Seoul, this is a place I highly recommend! have a good day!

Hello everyone! I recently visited the "Mongmo's Strange Zoo Pop-up Store" held at "The Forum by Jaime Hayon" on the 9th floor of The Hyundai in Daegu! 🧸 It was a truly charming and fascinating space. Let's take a look together! , 1️⃣ Mongmo's Strange Zoo Pop-up Store 1 , Last weekend, I visited the "Mongmo's Strange Zoo" pop-up store on the 9th floor of The Hyundai Daegu! Upon entering, the first thing that caught my eye was a 2.7-meter-tall Mongmo sculpture! Its long ears and plump body felt incredibly lifelike. There was a mini-exhibition of Mongmo memes, a puppet performance, and plenty of photo zones with dolls and merchandise neatly displayed from the entrance to the end! My friend and I took lots of cute pictures. , 2️⃣ Introducing Mongmo's Strange Zoo Pop-up Store , The Mongmo's Strange Zoo pop-up store I recently visited is currently being held on the 9th floor of The Hyundai in Daegu. The pop-up store will run for approximately three weeks, from July 25 to August 17, 2025. 🚄 Korean high-speed trains
2025. 8. 1.
hello everyone! A few days ago, I took a short trip to Daegu to visit a friend. It's been a while since I took a train. I took the ITX-Maeum on the way there and the KTX on the way back. I've also taken the ITX-Saemaeul on occasion in the past. Today, I'll share my experiences riding all three trains. , 1️⃣ Korea ITX-Maeum , The ITX-Maeum, my first train, opened in 2023. It felt like a brand new train overall. From the outside, the design was different. The red and gray color scheme made me immediately say, "Wow, this is different!" The interior was more comfortable than I expected, and the seats were spacious! Best of all, there were power outlets at every seat, so I didn't have to worry about charging my laptop or phone. , 2️⃣ Korea KTX , On my way back to Seoul, I took the KTX. If you want to save time, nothing beats the KTX! You can get from Seoul to Daegu in about an hour and 50 minutes, making it incredibly convenient when you're on a tight schedule. The KTX is definitely faster and more streamlined. The seats felt a bit tighter than the ITX-Ma-eum. I like the ITX-Ma-eum, but I preferred the KTX. The yellow lighting, in particular, felt warm and comfortable. , 3️⃣ Korea ITX-Saemaeul , I remember using the ITX-Saemaeul train a long time ago. These days, with the proliferation of the Maeum and KTX, it's somewhat forgotten, but it's still a decent mid- to low-cost train. While the overall travel time is a bit long, the calm atmosphere inside the trains makes it a great place to study or relax, and the price is reasonable. , In my opinion, if you want to travel quickly, the KTX is better. If you're looking for a more sensible experience and consider price, the ITX-Maeum is a good choice. If you want a more leisurely trip with the best value, the ITX-Saemaeul is a good choice. Have you ever taken a train in Korea? Have a nice day~

How to beat the heat of Korean summer – Jjimjilbang!
2025. 8. 1.
hello everyone! In hot weather like these days, there are many times when you wonder where to spend your time. Cafes are good, and shopping malls are good, but I visited a Korean 'Jjimjilbang' while looking for a special activity. Let's take a look together~ , 1️⃣ Korean Jjimjilbang , In fact, in Korea, jjimjilbangs are more than just sauna spaces; they are established as 'cultural spaces' where you can stay all day. My friend and I also wanted to experience this traditional culture, so we visited. Inside the jjimjilbang, there are jjimjilbangs with various temperatures, such as a hot yellow clay room, a warm kiln, and a cool ice room. My friend and I couldn't go into the 95-degree jjimjilbang because it was too hot, so we mostly played in the 65-degree room. , 2️⃣ Korean Jjimjilbang Food , One of the unmissable pleasures of a jjimjilbang is the delicious snacks! After sweating a lot, I got hungry. The menu I ordered was kimbap, ramen, and the must-haves at a jjimjilbang, grilled eggs and shikhye! The spicy ramen broth was so good, filling my empty stomach after sweating! And the most representative snack that comes to mind when thinking of a Korean jjimjilbang is this 'grilled egg', and it was so much tastier than I thought! , 3️⃣ Introduction to Korean Jjimjilbang , I also took a certification shot with my friend in front of the jjimjilbang mirror! It was so funny and new because we were all wearing the same jjimjilbang clothes. I talked with my friend, read books, and even slept. I had fun escaping the summer heat and having fun at the jjimjilbang ~ At the end, I took a bath and went home. , The Korean jjimjilbang culture has become established as a kind of 'rest' culture. It's great to be able to relax, sweat, and enjoy delicious snacks in a cool space on a hot summer day~ Have you ever been to a jjimjilbang? Have a nice day~

Seoul Dongdaemun - Value for money accommodation
2025. 8. 1.
Hello everyone~ The thing that worried me the most while preparing for my trip to Seoul was choosing a place to stay. A while ago, my friend came to Korea to visit and I recommended a place to stay! My friend liked it so much that I’m going to introduce it to him this time~ , 1️⃣ Cost-effective accommodation in Dongdaemun, Seoul - Location , The hotel is located in Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul. Dapsimni Station is an 8-9 minute walk away, making it convenient to take the subway. I was really satisfied because it was just a 5-10 minute drive to popular restaurants like Dongdaemun Design Plaza, Dongdaemun Fashion Town, and Gwangjang Market. I was planning to go shopping with a friend and go to a nearby cafe, but it was a real bargain to find this kind of facility at this price in this area. , 2️⃣ Cost-effective accommodation in Dongdaemun, Seoul , Boutique Hotel K is a 3-star hotel, but the rooms are quite spacious and have a sophisticated atmosphere. The room my friend and I stayed in had a pillow-top mattress, a fluffy down comforter, and what really impressed me was that there was a computer and a 53-inch HDTV in the room! It was perfect for watching performance videos on YouTube and Netflix with my friend at night. The bathroom was also quite luxurious~ , 3️⃣ Introducing cost-effective accommodations in Dongdaemun, Seoul , The hotel lobby is staffed 24 hours a day by multilingual front desk staff, so they were kind even when I checked in late. And the check-in/check-out process was not complicated, which was nice. There is also a space where you can get a massage on a tiring day! There was also coffee and tea in the morning, and although it was a small service, I was very satisfied! , I only stayed for one night, but this hotel left me feeling more than satisfied. If you are looking for a comfortable place to stay in Seoul at a reasonable price, consider Boutique Hotel K Dongdaemun ~ Have a nice day😊

2025. 7. 19.
Hello everyone! This summer, I had a truly unforgettable day! I went to the Boryeong Mud Festival, one of Korea's representative summer festivals. This time, I went on a shuttle bus package from Seoul. I went there myself and was very satisfied with the price! , 1️⃣ Departing from Seoul~ , The package I used was a summer special that included a round-trip shuttle bus + optional admission tickets . It was really convenient because it departed from major locations in Seoul such as Hongik University Station, Myeongdong, and Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Station. I departed from Hongik University Station around 7 am. I stopped by a rest area along the way and arrived at Daecheon Beach Festival Site around 11 am~ In fact, I'm always tired from long-distance travel, but it was great to be able to arrive comfortably like this! , 2️⃣ Boryeong Mud Festival , The Boryeong Mud Festival had a lot to offer, including mud slides, obstacle courses, mud wrestling zones, and mud massage zones. On stage, there were EDM performances, live concerts, and even fireworks in the evening. I was cautious at first, but at some point, I had so much fun playing with my friends~ , 3️⃣ Introduction to Boryeong Mud Festival , There was also a dining and resting area on one side of the festival grounds, so I was able to recharge my energy in between. And there were a variety of food booths! Also, the package I booked had staff on site who could speak English and Chinese, so it was really convenient. The festival lasted until late in the afternoon, but I took a bus to Seoul around 18:30~ , The package I booked was much cheaper than just booking the shuttle bus, which included the admission ticket. I am very satisfied with the cost-effectiveness. I think the Boryeong Mud Festival would be great whether you go alone or with friends! Have a nice day~

Paju Imjingak Peace Gondola Ride
2025. 7. 19.
hello! A few days ago, I went on a short day trip to Paju, Gyeonggi-do, near Seoul. I was worried about the rain, but I think I was able to enjoy the atmosphere thanks to the cloudy weather. It was the Paju Imjingak Peace Gondola experience! , 1️⃣ Imjingak Peace Gondola , Paju is a city located about an hour away from Seoul. It is one of the cities closest to North Korea. The Imjingak Peace Gondola that I visited this time is famous as the only gondola that allows you to see beyond the civilian access control line. When you ride the gondola, you can see the DMZ from the sky! As the cable car moves, it passes barbed wire and a river, and that moment was truly unforgettable. , 2️⃣ Landmine Warning Photo Zone , When I arrived at the boarding point, I walked a little and there was a park. There was a point where the triangular warning sign that said “MINE” stood out. The barbed wire, the ground guide line, and the atmosphere of the surrounding area were impressive. I took pictures with a careful and reverent mind, and many people were taking certification shots with this as the background. , 3️⃣ Souvenir shop , There was also a corner for North Korean souvenirs and stamps. The commemorative stamps and banknotes featuring North Korean sports, people, and architecture were colorful and unique, so I took a look. They also sold rainbow-colored handkerchiefs, key rings, and bags, which were very interesting. , During the gondola ride, it rained and the scenery outside looked hazy, but thanks to that, I was able to enjoy the scenery with a more mysterious and calm feeling. At first, I was a little disappointed with the trip to Paju on a rainy day, but in the end, it was a more profound experience~ Next time, when the weather is good, I want to go to Paju again! have a good day!

Paju Emotional Indoor Art Museum – Museum Hair
2025. 7. 19.
hello everyone! A few days ago, I went on a short trip to the outskirts of Seoul. The place I arrived was Paju, Gyeonggi-do! It’s about an hour away from Seoul by car, so it’s a perfect city for a quick getaway. I originally planned on going outdoors, but it suddenly started raining so much that I had no choice but to look for indoor activities. That’s when I stumbled upon Museum He.R! , 1️⃣ Museum Hair , The address of Museum Hair is 885-43 Pyeonghwa-ro, Tanhyeon-myeon, Paju-si, Gyeonggi-do. The admission fee is 25,000 won. Museum Hair is not just an exhibition space, but an immersive art museum that combines media art and sensory installations. It consists of three themes, and the atmosphere and presentation in each space are completely different, so it feels like watching three movies in a row rather than one exhibition~ , 2️⃣ Introducing Museum Hair , The exhibit that impressed me the most was the space exhibit. The 360-degree projection that covered the entire floor and walls with stars pouring down in the dark space and an astronaut floating was overwhelming. The entire space was made of mirrors, so it gave the illusion that I was floating in the middle of space. The photos came out really pretty, too! , 3️⃣ Museum Hair Introduction 2 , And in the third section, there was a cute space that children would also like. Large-scale images were displayed in three dimensions on the entire wall and floor, creating the illusion that various animals such as penguins, fish, and polar bears were actually in front of me. In particular, the scene where a penguin ran toward me or a whale swam in front of me in the sea was a moment when digital technology connected with emotions. , If you are wondering where to go near Seoul, and especially on a rainy day when you want to stay in a quiet and emotional space, Museum Hair seems like a good choice~ have a good day!

Scuba diving experience at Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak in Jeju

hello everyone. Today, I will introduce you to the scuba diving experience that I had during my trip to Jeju Island. The location is the sea near Seongsan Ilchulbong, which is also famous as a UNESCO World Heritage Site! Let's take a look together~ , 1️⃣ The sea in front of Seongsan Sunrise Peak , Jeju Island has many beautiful beaches, but the sea in front of Seongsan Ilchulbong was special. Thanks to the clear blue water, the view was really wide open, and I could see various marine life living and breathing right before my eyes. When I went in, I saw sea bass, puffer fish, and even octopuses swimming right before my eyes! It was an incredibly amazing experience! , 2️⃣ Scuba diving experience , I was worried because I didn't have a scuba diving license, but there was an experience diving program that I could participate in without a license, so I signed up right away! I received basic training before starting the dive, and slowly went into the shallow waters with a friendly instructor. The whole dive took about 1 hour and 30 minutes. I was nervous because it was my first time, but the instructor explained everything from putting on the equipment to getting into the water, and the instructor stayed by my side to take care of me, so I felt really reassured~ , 3️⃣ Scuba diving experience - do you have a license? , My friend who had a license chose the fun scuba diving , and went diving at two points about 1km apart by boat. The total 5-hour schedule included lunch, and he said he was very satisfied with the opportunity to dive deeper and in more diverse terrain. , I enjoyed it without any worries because the instructor was always by my side. The photos came out so pretty and it was really fun! If you come to Jeju this summer, I think you should definitely try it! This kind of experience for ₩69,000 ? I totally recommend itㅎㅎ Have a nice day~

Line Hotel Myeongdong Accommodation Review
2025. 7. 16.
hello! Today, I’m going to share my review of the Line Hotel Myeongdong, where I stayed with a friend who recently visited Korea. Myeongdong is an area where everything is densely packed with shopping, sightseeing, and food, so choosing a good place to stay is really important. I think I found a good hotel, so I’m going to share it with you! , 1️⃣ Line Hotel Myeongdong Location , Line Hotel Myeongdong is located in the heart of Seoul. It is about a 10-15 minute walk to Deoksugung Palace and Namsan Park! It is also 1.8 km to Gwanghwamun and 2.4 km to Gyeongbokgung Palace, so it is very convenient. It is also close to Myeongdong Station, so it is very convenient to use the subway. This time, my friend visited Korea for the first time from abroad, and it was perfect for quickly traveling to major tourist attractions! , 2️⃣ Line Hotel Myeongdong Advantages , Line Hotel Myeongdong was renovated on September 1, 2019, so it is very clean overall. It is also quiet and comfortable. We used a double room, and the bed was wide and soft, and the Wi-Fi speed was fast, so there was no inconvenience in watching videos or working. , 3️⃣ Line Hotel Myeongdong Service , Check-in was from 3pm to midnight, and check-out was until 11am. Luggage storage service was also available, so I was able to comfortably walk around Seoul before and after check-in. It was well-equipped with elevators and wheelchair access, so it was convenient for anyone to use~ , As of the time I booked, it was a good price for one night. Considering that it is a clean and quiet 3-star hotel in the center of Seoul, I felt that it was a good value for money. If you want to spend a day in Myeongdong, Seoul, I recommend Line Hotel Myeongdong~ Have a nice day~
